I thought Occupy Wall Street would be a grass roots retaliation against Wall street corruption by free thinking Americans who are tired of having their jobs shipped overseas while racketeers on Wall Street make money creating unthinkably complex financial instruments. Instead, Occupy Wall street has become controlled opposition in the false left right political paradigm that currently exists in the US. The protests are being infiltrated by the same young extreme left wing radicals (who don't have a freaking clue about history) who protest at WTO meetings, spouting off their hatred for capitalism and demanding communism and socialism will fix out problems.

www.infowars.com...

And now big money interests are swooping in to use this protest to their advantage and continue the status quo.

dailycaller.com...

www.washingtonpost.com...

www.infowars.com...

www.infowars.com...

Get some youngsters to dress as zombie bankers and you'll really get main stream Americans to think this protest is by a bunch of left wing radicals, and not support it.

www.usatoday.com...

So, to summarize, if you support this seemingly grass roots protest against Wall Street, you're in fact supporting the status quo.

Until and unless real middle class Americans.........with firearms............become jobless, homeless, hungry, cold, and scared, most all these protests that occur from time to time (just like Glenn Becks BS protest) will be controlled by the same money that controls everything else. It will be used by the players on both side of the fictional political spectrum that currently exists in the US.

Supporting protests in which the protestors are calling for totalitarianism, communism, and an end to capitalism is not the solution.

So what is your solution?

Just hope everything works out in the end for your grandchildren, and their children and so on?

What do you propose people do? Nothing?

There always has to be someone against everything. May as well go tell all those people at wall street to go home to carry on being sheeple because even standing up for yourself and protesting only hinders everyone as well.

I am for Occupy, change is needed, doing NOTHING will bring no good, only harm, standing up for the people of your country will bring change, just no-ones sure what change it will be, but change is needed.

He has to make his opinion known, adding it to a thread doesn't get him the attention he wants people to see. Doesn't get the point across as well.

Watch the live feed for yourself. Dont believe half the crap you read on the internet because it is bias in some way or another. Do your own reporting and information gathering.

its a shame people in and around my age group think communisim will be the be all end all solution to all are problems. any kind of back of any "ism" is stupid in my opinion. why not a protest for a better quality of life that is expected in "the greatest super power" the world has ever know. i dont i gave up protesting cause i dont wanna be lumped into those misguided by political ism. im over and done with that BS. # dont look good for the worl in any sense and im not a doom and gloomer. i tend to give that out look my own new england eldritch sas. call it a way of coping with the harsh reality of the fact that nothing is in are controll and we are being led by a bunch of fools and will be led by a bunch of fools to the real end of are days.

Alex jones doesn't think anything is real unless he's the one leading it with his bullhorn. If Alex was bullhorning in NYC the protest would probably dispurse in 5 minutes and instead of sleeping in the park to protest, alex would retire to his RV thats parked down the street.

My solution is to somehow wake people up to the fact that private banks and multi-national corporations ARE THE GOVERNMENT. They control everything. What we have now is essentially corporate fascism. The corporate state, which is owned and controlled by a very small monopoly of people.

Traditional communism or totalitarianism certainly is not the answer. We need to dramatically downsize the government, so departments like the FDA can no longer approve drugs and foods that their corporate masters want approved, and competition not approved. We need legitimate capitalism at a more local level.

How we get there is beyond me. Like I said, when some of the last good paying jobs go overseas or are done by immigrants at 1/4 the wages and formerly middle class gun loving Americans end up jobless, homeless, cold and hungry, then you'll start seeing some legitimate protests, and they'll likely be violent. lets face the historical reality: major changes in history are accomplished through violence and war. It's how most countries, to include the United States, came to be.

JFK tried to take on the elite monied establishment and he died at the barrel of a gun.

I'm not advocating violence in ANY WAY, I'm just calling it like I see it.

I'd suggest, there are times when doing 'something' just for the sake of 'doing anything' does more harm to the over all "cause" than staying home and watching American Idol. I'd suggest this is one of those situations. If no OTHER factor is considered, the children down there in New York are giving law enforcement from around America a good dress rehearsal for what may come. This block party will leave them FAR better prepared for protests that mean something...while those who would participate in the future protests have gained nothing from this silliness but a bad name and image to the public.

Lets really take a step back from "Do Something! Do Anything! We MUST ACT!".... That isn't ALWAYS a good thing to follow. If they had the support of the people, Israel showed how easily HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS can be mustered to literally close a city down..(400,000 estimated)....and in a modern, civilized and well policed nation. Remember the very recent cost of living demonstrations?

That is how to do this. Not the Grateful Dead dropouts we're watching right now.

Just my observations...

Nope, if Alex jones is saying it's a psy op...it's real people who started it.
Alex Jones is the psy op.

I don't see any politicians supporting this movement...The republicans hoped right on board the Tea Party. That should tell you something.

regardless of what it may be, I'm thinking about what it can turn into.

I'm not going to sit back and hope everything gets better with the dawning of the new age.
I for one will be out there, doing my part.

Here's some more establishment lefties coming to join the party.

teamsternation.blogspot.com...

Here's Ron Paul's take: Occupy Wall Street will be used to enact more police powers. That's another angle to this story.

But see, that is just what is happening... The protests are an attempt to wake everybody up to the problems we are facing...

Why try to bash that?

We are at the beginning of the end of the industrial age... we will never get any more jobs than we have now, only continue to lose them... I mean look at all the shopping businesses these days, grocery stores, home depot, wal mart etc... almost every single one has the easy scan checkouts... Well that used to be somebodies job, now 1 person watches all 10 of the checkouts... so 9/10 people lost their job as a checkout attendant...

New and improved technology will only continue to take over human jobs, plus like you said, shipping jobs overseas isnt seeming to stop anytime soon

Someone listens to a little too much to Alex Jones.

Something to consider;

Catherine Bleish is an activist from Missouri. Cool lady and genuine.

Your getting this info straight from the main stream, including alex jones. They are trying to make it look bad, most american's do not support obama AKA libertarian's. So the media will say its a liberal protest. When really its a large mix, I would be willing to be their is no one at that protest that supports what Obama is doing or they would not be in their in the first place. Just about every interview I have seen from the live feed talks about the new world order and the BANKS. These people are protesting a verity of reasons and the new world order is one of them.

I my self do not see what protest can accomplish any more. They used to spread the word but every one knows or has heard by now. So what is a protest going to do?

Wow that is horrible. You don't need cops to intervene in a protest if you got alex.

I tend to agree, or at least remain wary of this movement. Notice the tidbits of kindling added to the fire lately in the MSM. Warren Buffet suddenly saying rich ppl need to pay more taxes; a study saying rich people are less likely to be empathetic and altruistic (billionaire philanthropy); the trader on BBC statin that goldman sachs rules the world; all these anti establishment type documentaries so easily available( zeitgeist, inside job, capitalism a love story). And then there's Libya... Times are a changin, but I can't shake the feeling this is playing right into their plans for new legislation. Problem, reaction, solution. Manufactured dissent, controlled opposition, herd mentality.. I have no solution, I'm just a nobody, makin observations.

The answer is so easy....a CAVEMAN could figure it out. Do you people really NOT know what to do? Nah, you KNOW what to do...but are too AFRAID to do it. It would take COURAGE! More courage than pulling the trigger. Today's generation...is.....well.......PATHETIC! Truly PATHETIC.

Back in the day...they used to CHURN BUTTER....grow their own food...make their own clothes...bake their own bread. But, i guess, you think they had SUPER-MARKETS. My GOD! You people REALLY DON'T get it, DO YOU? And, why should you...when you have luxury s.u.v.'s, 15 different fast food spots, grocery stores, clothing stores, bakeries, liquor stores, movie stores, shoe stores, restaurants; internet, cable, i-pods, black-berries, computers, flatscreens; gyms, theatres, adventure parks, baseball fields, football fields; soccer, basketball, tennis, golf; horse races, dog races, UFC, WWE; credit cards, debit cards, gasoline cards; government assistance; child support; spousal support; schools, colleges, universities; running water, bottled water, electricity; Need i continue???

I wonder how people...hundreds of years ago....'survived'? Surely, they must've died, without their MTV!

How do we get out of the system then? If you seem to know? I agree with what your saying, but to do this, you must own land and if you own land you pay taxes and are not free from the system?

I would love to live and be dependent only on myself and no-one else. Not attacking you, i believe what you believe.
