LulzSec

Lulz Security, commonly abbreviated as LulzSec, is a computer hacker group that claims responsibility for several high profile attacks, including the compromise of user accounts from Sony Pictures in 2011. The group also claimed responsibility for taking the CIA website offline.[1] The group has been described as a "cyber terrorism group" by the Arizona Department of Public Safety after their systems were compromised and information leaked.[2] Other security professionals have applauded LulzSec for drawing attention to insecure systems and the dangers of password reuse.[3] It has gained attention due to its high profile targets and the sarcastic messages it has posted in the aftermath of its attacks.

Anonymous

Anonymous (used as a mass noun) is a group initiating active civil disobedience and spread through the Internet while staying hidden, originating in 2003 on the imageboard 4chan, representing the concept of many online community users simultaneously existing as an anarchic, digitized global brain.[2] It is also generally considered to be a blanket term for members of certain Internet subcultures, a way to refer to the actions of people in an environment where their actual identities are not known.[3]

Ah, but they will never get to the true force behind LulzSec and Anonymous... Will they?

Unfortunate casualties will happen along the way... But there are always thousands ready, willing and highly motivated to take their place.... Right?

So, #Fauxnews reported that the 8th @LulzSec member was arrested. Finally reached count of -1. Now, how do you arrest negative members? O_o

AnonymousIRC AnonymousIRC
#Foxnews reporting two arrests, one supposed to be LulzSec. #FAIL. Are they at -1 now? @LulzKitten say meow? What poor saps are accused now?

While you fight fiercely and arrest us bravely, thinking you take us down, you achieve one thing: You bond us, stronger every day. Thanks.

Let's make a deal, FBI: You keep on arresting random citizens while we dismantle the system, k? #OccupyWallstreet #Anonymous

2 down over 50 thousand more to go and that number is probably higher by now given that Anonymous true numbers remained Undefined. The funny thing about these arrests is that you are talking about people who don't really care if they are arrested or not. The true Anons would simply laugh at the misfortune of a fellow Anon. And even they tend to turn on themselves just for the sake of "lulz".

Google Anonymous Meshnet.

That project began a few years ago, which means who knows if it's operational and if it is how many are using it
