I have talked to many people about Ron Paul, friends and family.
I get the same programmed, parrot like responses...
"He will never win."
I know exactly what you mean. Whenever I ask someone about Ron Paul, they always have the same thing to say, either "He's too extreme" or "He's not going to win".

Then when I ask them what actual issues they disagree with him on, they have to think for a few seconds because I guess they're not even used to thinking about that, then the reason is typically some garbage like "He wants Iran to have a nuke".

Then I explain all of the positions that I support him for, and I ask if they oppose all of those things, and they're like "Well I guess not".

"Programmed, parrot like responses" is a great way to put it, the MSM definitely influences the way people think.

Then I ask them what they watch for news, and if they have actually looked at his debates and positions...

Wouldn't you know it, their source of information is one of the big 3. (MSNBC, CNN, FOX)
Yep. CNN is a big one, and the reasons why they oppose Ron Paul is always based on the negative things the media has said, "He's too extreme", "Iran can't have a nuke!", or some other stupid reason that a reporter reading a script told them....

Alex Jones is a nutter butter and I believe Ron Paul is as well. And I predict Obama winning four more years in 2012.

I can't take anyone seriously if they go on the Alex Jones show.

Especially politicians...but I guess crazy people are attracted to each other.

This is a major problem with our society.......this type of thinking is not only ignorant but absolutely counterproductive to the current movement taking place.

What current movement?

The crazy train?

Look...I think Alex Jones is 100% crazy...and for Ron Paul to go on his show just is more in the negative column in my book.

So please enlighten me to what "major problem" my type of thinking is...you didn't give any specifics.

Why don't you address the comments made by Mr. Paul vs. the venue that he uses to broadcast? That would certainly make any feedback you have more meaningful - tho I suspect you don't really have a strong argument.

Says the guy on ATS...

So because I'm on ATS...that automatically says something about me?

I'm curious...what does it say about me?

Haha! Are you smart enough to see the irony of what you typed?
