Is anybody tired of the "liberal hegemony'?
Is there music that people enjoy that is not afraid to discriminate, without becoming openly insulting?

I think some bands just want to shock a bit, and be controversial.
But often those bands have nothing controversial in their lyrics and music.
It's just "image".

As far as punk "counter culture" can be a semiotic deconstruction of the "hippy millionaire" establishment, it would be difficult to include some acts, and exclude others.
