On Saturday, the Pope had delivered a homily to a million-strong crowd.

But his speech there was cut short by a violent thunderstorm which blew off his skullcap.

bbc: closing Mass for world youth day

I was watching the video and just wow.
That is a lot of people.

Anyway he seem amused by the whole incident.
Bit of a smile there right after it happened.

Wow, then God must have been really pissed off at Sugarland before their concert in Indianapolis a few days ago.

Good thing the pope isn't into country music.

Or, maybe it was the spirits of the millions of children that had been abused by his brethren?

The man drips evil from every pore.

I would hope one that "leads" the voice of god (as some see it) , would be supported on more than a few level's.

It also makes me wonder if the thought's of those youth went along the same lines as that scary man, or if thier passion of youth prevented the lies to be heard. That looked like one hell of a good ol wet time!!

I do not believe in coincidences, not in a creation with math as a language on every level.

To use this wording a tree can always be judged by the fruit it bears, true no matter what faith you may or not have, Sraight from the farmers jaws.

I sum it up to he got what was coming to him for supporting the wrong "ideals".

My take and 2 cent's on it.

Cheers!

the one fantastic chance to expose the man of wolfs in sheeps clothing

you give a gust of wind!!

no lightning strike??

no earth quake which swallows him "hole"?

no random tornado , gobbles just him up spits him out and exposes a reptilian ??

alien invasion which beams him up only ?

just a gust of wind!!!

justice nothing !!

or maybe intervention rules apply here

thats really interesting thanks for posting, thought this was a few years back also

LES COMBES, Italy — Pope Benedict XVI said Wednesday that his guardian angel was clearly acting "on superior orders" when he let the pontiff fall and break his wrist this month.

The 82-year-old pope said in a lighthearted tone that: "Perhaps the Lord wanted to teach me more patience and humility, give me more time for prayer and meditation," the pope added.

The pope thanked law enforcement officials for being "like angels," as he prepared to depart Les Combes, the Alpine resort where he tripped and hurt his right wrist about 10 days ago while on vacation.

"Unfortunately, my own guardian angel did not prevent my injury, certainly following superior orders," Benedict said.

What gets on my wick is how he's treated like some sort of saint - all those people there just to see him. He's just a mere mortal like the rest of us so why doesn't he act like one

And how arrogant he must be to actually think himself worthy of such adulation.

He's just some bloke in a white frock.
