I can't take anything seriously anymore!

I was speaking to an American friend recently and we were musing about varous changes in the "atmosphere" in different countries...his impression is that all his conversations trail off and follow the same downward trajectory now...people may start off with the usual pleasatries or plans or gossip, he feels, but eventually all the conversations spiral down into a kind of depressing silence as if everyone is acknowleding the same thing -- that the end is coming, that everything they thought was real is has been revealed to be a sham, and so on.

I see this as wonderful news if true because it means people are waking up at last. It may seem akward or even painful but its a step forward from denial.

Hey fixer,

Apparently, there are appears to be some critical issues with the motherboard. I'm suspecting "Power Surges", hack it could be a virus attack.

A system reboot won't help, I suggest an upgrade install. A clean and refreshing new install, why not.

Back when this song was being sung, I thought John Lennon and Yoko were crazy hippies. I was into God, Country and hoorah horsesh$t. If I was old enough, I would have gladly schlepped off to Vietnam.
