Anyone seen a story on this.
It's got to be there somewhere.

What are they protesting about?

Rents.

guardian.co.uk / Government alarm at citizens' revolt as tent protests spread

The reason I post this is
while looking over the tons of videos
that have been uploaded
one comment struck me.

Why is the media ignoring this? Someone asked.

Is a successful, peaceful protest that dangerous, or just that uninteresting.

I don't know.

But the government in Israel is definitely paying attention.

I believe it started on July 30th.

One poll puts support at 87% of the population.

30,000 people turned up for one night rally.

There are litteraly thousands of tents lining the boulevards in Israel.

Just a little history for the region.

Then spake Solomon,,
(male only heirs to the throne ),
Pharaoh's daughter the queen of Sheba(a queen, by egyptian, rules)
came up out of the city of David, (David,, Solomons Dad )

(Israel,,at this time both the North and the South, still friendly,,and not yet entered civil war)

Solomon gave her of his royal bounty,,a child,, too join the two
Royal Kingdoms
(line of Joseph,,from Egypt,,and Solomon's Davidic Line )
for the continuation of the royal line of Joseph,,from Egypt,,too the new kingdom of Isreal as well.

can anyone tell me why 10 tents

or should i continue?,, there will be pictures

Has anyone heard about the Rothschilds you mean the red bauer family, with the red shield, flags,,,hmmm 12 tribes,,yup,, got some,,, directional too,,, wonder if the tents were set up the old fashioned way,, hmmm wonder if it would work,, who knows the old guy might still be around , down that way,, Israel,, i mean.

I'll take any contribution to this thread that I can get about now.

Here is a long video of an interview with the direct decendant of Solomon and Sheba
from Meet the press back in 1966.

This is the first I've heard about it.

The MSM here in the US wants us all to think that everything is rosey over in Israel and the people are always happy (unless those pesky Palestinians start acting up).

Thanks for posting and keeping me in the loop.

So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.

And so god purchased the land from the original owner,
and god then deeded that land
for an inheritence
too his davidic line,
for etenity.
or until he comes back,,which ever comes first.

Fast forward too today,, whoever owns the threshingfloor,,
the Dome of the Rock by the way,,
Will upon the arrival of god from heaven,
show how the owner of said land ( god ), how they have maintained said property, for instance has the neighbourhood improved since its time of purchase, that long time ago.

I mean you want too fight god for ownership,, be my guest,

Personally i'm staying out of this one.

But back too the story,,

So they appointed twelve administrators over the multitudes,,they were called,,
The Apostles,, no not a Band,, but a gang of sorts,,ohh and there's silver involved here as well

Wait... Wait... What!?! What's happening?

Thanks CNN, FOX, and NBC for letting us know...

I always figured Israelis were like Americans... happy in their own little world.
Good for them, at least they are standing up.

If you Google it, this Russia website says there's even more to it.

Nearly 120,000 people rallied across Israel on Saturday protesting against rising prices, social inequality and runaway unemployment.

50,000 took to the streets in Tel Aviv and 15,000 in Jerusalem demanding affordable education and medicare.

But the top hit, however, is the Tehran Times (I know, I know) but look.

The protesters called for social justice and demanded that the Prime Minister step down

Thanks for the link to the Tehran Times,
found this quote there.

So it's worse than I thought.
There hasn't been a peep on the MSM about this.

Yeah, I would actually like to see how the MSM spins this. Though, they just shifted their focus to Syria, maybe that is what these protests are partly about. These people can see what's coming.

Are there any riot police or Israeli military keeping order? Or are they allowing it to go on peacefully?

As far as I can tell it is very peacefull.
Netenyahu has finally had to make a statement about it.

But.

Two weeks ago,
a single tent city in a very poor neighborhood
that actually had homeless people was evicted.
The number of protest tent cities were growing before that,
but after the incident the protests exploded in numbers and determination.

David Grouchy

Towads the middle of this video clip one can actually see
"...at 4:30 in the morning patrols from the ministry of environment removed the tents and confiscated them..."

Timestop 1:00

But generaly this is what the protests have looked like.

Here is what Al Jazeera has to say about it.

I'm still looking for a translation of Netenyahu's statement.

David Grouchy

Here it is.

"We need to avoid taking hasty irresponsible populist measures that could lead the economy to deteriorate. Like European countries that _have_ reached the verge of bankruptcy and _massive_ unemployment."

A quick bump to see if any member across the pond had heard of these protests.

If not, I'm quite impressed with the media's ability to put a black out on major world events.

Seven hours later . . .

One last bump to see if anyone has heard a report on this
in their regular news channels or paper.
