POLICE in Texas said Thursday they had arrested a US soldier mounting a "terror plot" against Fort Hood, the military base where a fellow serviceman went on a deadly shooting rampage in 2009.
The soldier, who appeared last year in a documentary saying he was a Muslim who opposed deployment to Afghanistan, became the target of suspicion after a gun-shop owner noticed his unusual purchases of weapons.
Police tracked down the soldier to a budget hotel near Fort Hood and arrested him, police said.
The soldier, a Texas native, served at Fort Campbell in Kentucky but had been missing since Jul

I just found out, with a bit of further information, is that he was being discharged from the US army, was AOWL, and the reason for being discharged, is that they found child pornography on his personal computer. He was a conscientious objector, so the question raises up, why was he in the military and what was he hoping to gain?

And now it starts again. The problems are coming up again, as here again, a soldier who raised his right hand, swore an oath, signed his name on the dotted line, all in the name of religion, decided to attempt to cause a greater problem than that of what is currently going on. This is not a good sign, as it will only lead to suspiscions and further fear against those who are muslim or follow the Islamic religion, the question as to who a person can trust is going to be called and on the forefront of everyones mind. The war on terror is over, and unfortunately, the West lost, when actions like these come to the forefront.

Fort Hood Suspect Mentions al Qaeda Cleric Believed to Have Inspired Previous Attack, Official Says
July 28, 2011
...According to one senior official, Abdo has also mentioned the name of high profile al Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki -- the same man investigators said inspired the previous Fort Hood attack along with other potentially deadly terror plots in the U.S. --
The underwear bomber was walked past security onto the plane by a guy in a nice suit. Two lawyers aboard the plane reported it immediately and tried to make it public, and there were a ton of similar complaints/reports, even some of someone on the plane videotaping the bomber throughout the whole flight. The state department even admitted to putting the guy on the plane, whether they knew about the bomb or not...
Patrick F. Kennedy, an undersecretary for management at the State Department, said Abdulmutallab's visa wasn't taken away because intelligence officials asked his agency not to deny a visa to the suspected terrorist over concerns that a denial would've foiled a larger investigation into al-Qaida threats against the United States.
(Related; A US soldier who captured a deadly 2009 rampage at Fort Hood with his cell phone camera testified Friday that he was ordered to erase the videos by his commanders.)
Speaking of the underwear bomber and fort hood, the guy who we're told is behind the thinking of the terrorists, their 'spiritual leader' Anwar al-Awlaki, was also the spiritual leader for the NY car bomb attempter, and they're saying the same about the recent printer cartrige bomb crap.
He was also directly linked to 'terror plots' in toronto and fort dix, nj.
Funny thing is, is that even though the government said the same stuff about him being the spiritual adviser for the 9/11 hijackers, and the fact that he's on our most-wanted lists (and has been for a long time), he ended up participating in a special lunch for Muslim outreach at the pentagon two months after september 11...
