I attended a funeral and this was the song that played at the end.

Lyrics

He Will Call

Life, like a mist, appears for just a day,
Then disappears tomorrow.
All that we are can quickly fade away,
Replaced with tears and sorrow.
If a man should die, can he live again?
Hear the promise God has made:

(CHORUS)
He will call; The dead will answer.
They shall live at his command.
For he will have a longing
For the work of his own hand.
So have faith, and do not wonder,
For our God can make us stand.
And we shall live forever,
As the work of his own hand.

Friends of our God, though they may pass away,
Will never be forsaken.
All those asleep who in God’s memory stay,
From death he will awaken.
Then we’ll come to see all that life can be:
Paradise eternally.

(CHORUS)

LISTEN TO SONG

The song is based on the following scriptures

Job 14: 13-15

13 O that in She´ol you would conceal me, That you would keep me secret until your anger turns back, That you would set a time limit for me and remember me! 14 If an able-bodied man dies can he live again? All the days of my compulsory service I shall wait, Until my relief comes. 15 You will call, and I myself shall answer you. For the work of your hands you will have a yearning.

John 6:40

For this is the will of my Father, that everyone that beholds the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him at the last day.”

John 11:11 & 43

11 He said these things, and after this he said to them: “Laz´a·rus our friend has gone to rest, but I am journeying there to awaken him from sleep.”....
43 And when he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice: “Laz´a·rus, come on out!”

James 4:14

whereas YOU do not know what YOUR life will be tomorrow. For YOU are a mist appearing for a little while and then disappearing.
