A lot a weird stuff happening on the Moon and some of them are recorded! This official document is an important archive on what Astronomers, during the centuries, have watched on our satellite. NASA has catalogued all the records.Interesting to see what is hidden inside the desciption of the events.

It's interesting that the report covers the time period of 1540 to 1966, but fails to cover more recent times when we have the ability to better monitor the moon. I wonder if we will ever see a report covering 1967 - present?

This report was released in 1966, how could it cover a more recent time period?

That's strange, not only isn't that the real title of the report, the oldest report is from 1587, not 1540.

And you can download it from NASA, here.
