Oh dear !

How many logical fallacies did you actually use in your reply to me ?! About five, just off the the top of my head.

You don't know too much about logic, do you ? Ah, bless...

Yeah, I'll give my unconditional support to a group who have previously bullied 11-year-old-girls, flooded epilepsy forums with flashing images and posted child porn on YouTube.

Not to mention, all the future possibilities which this concept, sorry, ''idea'', could ''achieve''.

Seriously, mate, I don't mean to sound like an absolute arse, but please avail yourself of just the basic principles of logic and debating before you attempt to discuss any issue with me.

You're confusing Anon hacking group with 4chan.

Two completely different entities.

There are far better things to do with hacking then going after personal targets. Anon targets those who personally affect them, not the world. They pick and choose targets and exclaim its about freedom. Give me a break already, we know its personally charged. Don't try and debate the very obvious.

What good is it doing? Nothing that I have seen. I challenge Anon to actually produce some "truths" that astound us, instead of just showing email chains...

And how do you come to that conclusion...they are Anonymous are they not?

Anonymous is Libya of the internet. People are picking sides while nobody knows the identity of the controllers.

Three possible outcomes:
1) Same replaces same.
2) Better replaces bad.
2) Worst replaces bad.

As of right now, per Anonymous' own claims, you have a 1 in 3 chance of each...have fun.

Er, no.

You're confusing ''Anon'' with ''Anon''.

Er, yes.

You're not making any sense. Now tell us all about logical fallacies again. That can come in handy as a diversion when your nonsense is challenged, right? Or, as a nice surprise, perhaps you could first research what you are attempting to speak authoritatively on.

PS. You said above that you didn't mean to 'sound like an absolute arse'. Your words.

Well, then you need to try a lot harder to avoid it. But at least self awareness is a start.

Sherlock? I'm just curious, are you dissapointed they don't do enough?

Should they hack the White House and show Obama's new tweets from Hillary or Nancy when he gets under the covers at night? (I would even bail them out of jail if they got caught with THAT tweet for twat)

I like the mouse here, instead of the cat.

But,then again, Im over >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>here.

So I'll just spectate.

The people who frequent 4chan call thenselves Anon yes. Anybody can call themselves Anon. I can jump on a chatroom be, be a complete racist and say im Anon. Its a blessing and a curse. The hacking group is not responsible for the stupid stuff that 4chan does nor do they plan it.

This is like saying every single person that works for, is involved in or receives handouts from the federal gov is as evil as Dick Cheney just because the letters they receive have some federal letterhead.

Deny Ignorance.

Also breaking down the internet censorship to give protesters the right to be heard in certain restrictive countries.

But then again, the anti-anon crowd mainly consist of very ignorant people who like to churn the terms 'script-kiddie' around, without any idea what it means.

Seriously the anti-anon crowd are tiresome and boring and have done little research and often confuse 4chan with anon.

/sigh.

Keep up the good work Anon, ignore the morons and the haters.

Kids running a script that someone GAVE them

AREN'T. HACKERS.

It astounds me that so many posters think these kids getting arrested are hackers when in fact they are little more than pawns. Running a denial of service attack from mommy's dell doesn't make anyone a hacker. This is like back in the 90's when people were using punters on AOL. They just downloaded a program a real techie wrote and then just used it. And the media is making some big show out of these arrests. The FBI KNOWS these arrests are a joke, they do little more than scare would be pawns from participating in the "game". The real people behind anonymous aren't going to be ip traced, as like you said there are ways around that.

Indeed. The real ones bounce through numerous proxy's and machines they've rooted, and cover their tracks.

And again, Anonymous provides the need for the existance of tools like HBGary just like Anonymous continuing illegal activities justifies the governments push for internent regulation.
So if you don't like HBGary, thank Anonymous for providing the justification for its existance, and doesn't anyone find it uncanny that it was Anonomous that introduced the public to its very existance in the first place?

You don't see Joe taxpayer that upset that HBGary exists. There has been no outcry to pull the budget money out of such programs, in a time of deep economic trouble. The opposite is true, and Anonymous provides the justification for such expenditures.

Nice deflection you're trying to promote. Luckily hundreds and hundreds of thousands of people can see right through your desperate little sham.

Keep trying though.

It's not a "try" it is an observation that anyone can make.

So leave the ordinary person out of their fight and take on the corporations and governments, but leave the normal person's data out of it otherwise you risk blowback from the populous which is your main pool of support.

I think they realize this. But that can be difficult when its the Corporations and Governments that have everyones personal data.
