If/When People Take to the Streets...

Shutting off the Internet would cause pandemonium. Financial markets, businesses, and the government depend upon it to keep things running. If things ever got to that point, then it ought to do naught but embolden people even more because that'd be a sign that they're winning. I honestly don't think folks in my country are smart enough to do it in vast enough numbers, though.

The first on the streets will be the kids, bollowed by a more militant young and finally about all but the elderly or disabled.
