My wife is this same way. Very rare. She can feed wild animals by hand. I've seen a bird land on her shoulder more than once. Animals trust and love her, it's like a Disney cartoon!

Wow! That must have been epic to witness!

I've walked up to deer, raccoons and wild rabbits before. One time I sat and talked to a fox until it came over and sat beside me. A few feet away.

Just seems like they get curious and then just want to hang around for awhile.

I used to raise a few wolves so I learned a lot of patience and a little body language for them as well.

It doesn't matter what the animal is, they like me. Dogs, cats, birds, squirrels, horses,...doesn't matter. They will always trust me and become almost freakishly attached and affectionate.

People have seen it and say it's very weird...almost like communication.

Talent? Don't know.

That definitely is an ability, ability to calm animals and even earn their affection is incredible.

And you know what is incredible, right when i read your post my cat started going purr nuts, just came up to me and started puttin her paws all over my arms and face. Youve definitely got a gift.

Here kitty, kitty, kitty...lol

Cats are my least favorite but for some reason they love being around me. My brother has 2 and they crawl over me.

I used to think that if an animal knows you don't like them, they will stay away. Not true.

It seems that animals sense trust and not affection. Even tho I am not a big fan of cats, they know that I would never hurt them

We had a squirrel get caught in our house once. I let him live behind the drier for about 2 months because it was winter and I didn't have the heart to put him outside. Then I looked up one day and saw him sitting on the corner of our bed while I was reading. There he slept for Months. .

Started putting a plate of food on the table with my wife and I. Everyday like clockwork, we would all eat together like one big happy family.

Loved that little guy.

I can bend my index finger backwards and touch the back of my hand with the tip of it. I used to be able to push it nearly flat against the back of my hand, but not practiced/stretched it lately... lol, I'm letting my talent go to waste.

If I grip around my right wrist and cut off the circulation a bit, I can move my fingers to move a vein around in my hand like a worm.

It moves over my middle finger bone (alot lower down on my hand) and back over my index finger bone.
It may make some wretch a bit.
