OK maybe this belongs in the Jokes forum but the man is trying to make a valid point.

It started 3 yrs ago when he tried to get a drivers license while wearing his religions required garb (in this case a pasta colander on his head).
After going through 3 yrs of psychological testing he was found to be fit to drive and also to take his pic with his sacred article of clothing.

Good for him!!!!!

Heres a link to the article with photo and also some info on the religion of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, do we have any of the faithful on this site? what are the requirements for joining?

Cheers

Win for Pastafarians everywhere

P.s may have slightly exaggerated the thread title, get over it people!!!!!

Honestly, the Flying Spaghetti Monster is about 10 times more reasonable of a belief than the idiotic Christian, Judaism, and Islamic FAIRY TALE stories.

Praise be to the Spaghetti Monster. Glory, glory!!

Can I get an AMEN???

According to their holy book, being a pantry pastafarian myself, all prayers and thanks to the Noodly Appendaged One shall end in RAMEN, not AMEN.

Militants, militants,... everywhere.
Do you really hate religious folk that much?
Just asking.

I love the FSM and Pastafarianism as much as the next guy who just really wants to wear a colander on his head, but despite your disclaimer, your thread title really does tick me off.

This does not mean that the state accepted the FSM as real. It means that they accepted Pastafarianism as a valid belief system. I know you were using it as an exaggeration, but it's one that really bothers me.

Not half as much as individuals completely without any sense of humour.

May hes juicy meaty balls quench your savory hunger... and may his long noodles stretch out to whip the unbelievers.

May everyone come to know the name of our god Spagmon, sauce be upon him. RAMEN!

How long until this becomes a "de facto" religion? I give it a generation. 20-25 years tops. The most important question is what kind of religion it will be. Since I am not really interested in studying Pastafarianism deeply, could someone please be very kindly and give me a brief rundown of its tenets?

LOL I knew thered be at least 1.

I think by allowing this man to do as his religion requires him is an acceptance of his belief, therefore the Spagmon is now on the same level as God, Allah, Buddha and Xenu!!!

Way to go Pastafarians

Hey long time no chat. But on to your post. LOL It made me laugh so hard. That and my grandparents are disbelievers and laughed at what you wrote. My grandma who is a Catholic just shook her head thinking it was a joke article or that you had made it up. ~Sighs~ Now I know where I got my dead pan sense of humor and it "WASN'T" just the fact I am a Capricorn -_- But on to another note I checked your link and showed it to them and they still thought it was a joke. ~Sighs~ I wonder if it was announced on the news if they would believe me or the article.
