What part of my post do you deem indefensible? You agreed to everything except the comment on the long post so here you go, I apologize about the comment on your post being long.

Free speech is being able to speak about anything. I understand the reasons behind the censorship that goes on, but don’t remove discussion about the specific possibilities of theoretical action against tyranny and call your selves defenders of free speech.

ATS has never claimed to be such a thing. I don't know where these ideas originate from, but they all require ignorance of something very important.

In the purest sense, "free speech" includes the classic example of shouting "fire!" in a crowded theater. It also includes posting porn, spamming, conspiring to commit crimes, threatening people with violence and so on.

It can also include posting the names, addresses and phone numbers of you and all your family members on the Internet along with the words "kill these people".

ATS has never stood for this sort of "freedom", nor has it ever claimed to.

In addition to that, ATS is a moderated discussion board. The staff may, at its sole discretion, move or remove anything deemed to be off-topic or inappropriate from the forums.

This is not unique. Any discussion board that's worth visiting has similar restrictions.

I find it particularly ironic that so many people would choose to be a member of ATS, agree to its terms & conditions and then proceed to complain about it being what it is not.

Why not spend time on a truly "free" board that doesn't have such restrictions?

Because in the end, such "freedom" isn't as utopian as it sounds.
