Assad loyalists storm US and French embassies

english.aljazeera.net

Attackers smash windows and raise Syrian flag at US compound, but are driven back by security guards at French embassy.
Supporters of the Syrian government have stormed the US and French embassies in Damascus, prompting strong condemnation by the two countries' officials.

Witnesses describing Monday's assault said the attackers smashed windows and raised a Syrian flag at the US diplomatic compound and wrote anti-American graffiti referring to the US ambassador as a "dog".

Curious how Assad's henchmen didn't shoot any of these protesters. Seems the "protesters" were driven back from the French embassy but allowed to invade the US embassy. The mob then moved on to the residence of the American ambassador. No news of any casualties yet.

It will be interesting to see how America reacts.

They were Assad supporters. That's why they didn't shoot them.

We won't do anything though, we're to thin as it is now.

This is the tyipcal diversionary technique. Im sure blame will be shifted to anti assad forces along with the spin that the US is funneling cash/weapons to anti assad supporters.

Standard operating procedure for countries like Syria and Iran. When in doubt and facing political pressure at home, blame the great satan or Israel.

Quite the curious protest when you consider the Syrian events that occurred back in April of this year.

Then, it was the Muslim Brotherhood calling for the Protests against the Assad regime.

Not sure what to make of what is going on that region as a whole.

One certainty is that this is the work of the Brotherhood in Syria, Egypt, Yemen and in the recent protests in the streets of Malaysia. They are digging in deep in a concerted effort to bring about widespread chaos.

What response are they looking for in regards to direct assaults on two Foreign embassies?

The Brotherhood is a recognized terrorist organization. And now we are opening “talks” with them? I would prefer that we talk with our barrels, than diplomats concerning these people.

The Brotherhood killed President Sadat who broached a peace agreement with Israel and attempted to kill President Nassar earlier.

Nice guys.

and ingnorant foreigners with no understanding of how diplomatic representation in a foreign country works is never far away is it.. Are you sure you dont work for press tv?

Diplomats are present to ensure an open line of communication and dialogue between governments. A concept that despotic arab regimes dont understand. Of course we can add to that mix ignorant people from those same areas who are to stupid to think for themselves, instead choosing to tow the party line.

Diplomatic representation is not internal interference... If the goose stepping morons in the middle east would read books instead of burning them, you guys might know that.

Diplomacy doesn't exist with out representation in foreign lands. Troubled or not, the only way to garauntee communication with foreign governments is to put bodies over there (whereever it may be). Thats always been the way. So unless you have a more constructive way than the current and historic standard of diplomatic relations, you really should just keep your trap shut. The french and the the americans have maintained a presence in almost all middle eastern countries that aren't under a strict dictatorship, like Iran, for at least the last century and a half.

There is civil and political unrest in syria, which is spurring these types of actions towards western embassies. Our involvement, along with other "western" involvement has always been to HELP THEM, not to hurt them.

This will invite more interest from the US Military. Interest the muslims in Syria will soon find quite intrusive.

Remember my muslim friends: GITMO, GIT MO, Get Mohammed.

It's not a place. It's a policy.

Diplomatic relations are just that. A media blackout is put in place by Assad, not the West.

You have drank the cool-aid to long my friend. Its SOP for any country in the Middle East, when faced with internal issues, to shift blame to either the US or Israel. If the countries in the Middle East cared about their people, they would let them voice their dissent and allow them to vote, instead of having emergency power in place for 30 years or more (as is the case with Syria).

Its not Western military units that are gunning down protestors in the streets, nor is it western security forces rounding people up and torturing them until they declare their loyalty to Assad.

You might want to get your rectal-cranial inversion issue fixed before accusing other countries for something Assad has done himself.

You should re-read your history of the region. It was originally occupied by the French in the early 40's, before that it was the Arab Kingdom of Syria. Syria regained it's "independance" after several attempted and succesful coups which ended up with the Ba'ath party take over in the 60's. From 1970 on even up until 2000 they have run a militaristic authoritarian government.

After the attacks on September 11th, the Syrians have offered limited support with the US led war on terror. Only in the past 6-7 years has there been tensions between the US and Syria. However since 2009 the US has tried to REDUCE TENSIONS, and promote middle eastern peace.

Fundamental Islam extremeists are the ones who are causing the ruckus, NOT americans. The ruling Ba'ath party, IMO, are the ones funding the violence. AS of now the Syrian Constitution requires that the President be a Muslim, but they do not enforce Muslim law. It's my belief that they wish to change that by trying to push the western influences out through violent action.

Do some homework and get back to me.

Wrong. You do know that the Brotherhood have pledge non-violence since the early 80s right?

Sorry but the CIA and the insane people running the American military are 10 000 times more dangerous than the Brotherhood could ever be.

Please don't believe everything you are expected to believe about the brotherhood. Just radicals in neckties. The truth lies in the words of their leaders. Amazing how our nation's leaders are "opening up a dialogue" with them.

Remember the protests in the streets of Malaysia a couple of days ago?? Please read the following from 2010 then look at what's happening now in Malaysia, Syria, Egypt, Yemen, Tunisia and Somalia will be next.

All roads taken by Feisal Abdul Rauf seem to lead to the sharia state of Malaysia.

Rauf spent many weeks there in summer 2010. He first attended school there. Rauf stands second in command at Malaysia’s Perdana Global Peace Organization to antisemitic former Malaysian P.M. and Islamic law advocate Mahathir Mohamad,1 who in Nov. 2002, incited global anti-West financial waras a “jihad worth fighting for.” 2 Rauf’s father, Muslim Brother Mohammed Abdul Rauf, a colleague and close contemporary of MB founder Hassan al-Banna, established four Malaysian Islamic study centers, including the International Islamic University in Kuala Lumpur, which Mahathir invited him back to Malaysia to open. Malaysia’s IIU now rivals Pakistan’s International Islamic University in Karachi. 3

It now seems that Malaysian Islamic ideology also played a big role in formulating the Muslim Brotherhood strategy to destroy the West from within and sabotage “its miserable house.” 4

Here is a key component of the Brotherhood's North American Plan. Yes, they have plans for all parts of the world. Please take note of the last 3 lines and refer back to my Radicals in Neck Ties comment.

Also entitled “Understanding the role of the Muslim Brother in North America,” Article 4 needs no further comment. In its entirety, it succinctly and frighteningly explains,

“The process of settlement is a “Civilization-Jihadist Process” with all the word means. The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their [own] hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions. Without this level of understanding, we are not up to this challenge and have not prepared ourselves for Jihad yet. It is a Muslim’s destiny to perform Jihad and work wherever he is and wherever he lands until the final hour comes, and there is no escape from that destiny except for those who chose to slack. But, would the slackers and the Mujahedeen be equal.” 6

They have been working for decades to infiltrate the offices and inner sanctums of the Western world. Case in point Huma Abedin, Hillary's right hand lady, whose mother and brother remain very active in the Brotherhood. She came straight out of Saudi Arabia to attend college in the US and ended up as a WH intern who has since been protected by Hillary's cloak for the past 15 years.

As you may remember, Rauf is the man behind the controversial ground zero mosque/cultural center. Recently, a lawsuit against the development of this center was dismissed.www.christianpost.com...

Now quickly flashback to 1965 when Rauf's father began buying up prime Manhattan real estate.

Muslim Brother Feisal Abdul Rauf clearly follows the 1991 Muslim Brotherhood strategic mandate for North American, which his father followed in 1965 — decades before it was even set to paper. Rauf senior secretly bought two thirds of a prime 3rd Avenue Manhattan block for a personal Islamic “trust” with $1.3 million in funding from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Libya. 11 Likewise, only when the E. 96th St. Islamic Cultural Center of New York opened in 1992 did Rauf le père reveal that $17 million in construction funding emanated from Malaysia and 45 other Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) nations. 12 By 2010, the enormous upper 3rd Ave. Islamic complex had added another two buildings. Since 1984, its founders envisioned apartment units restricted to Muslims alone. 13

The Muslim Brotherhood clearly spelled it out in Article 17. Building Islamic centers equals building military “battalions,” points from which to later stage the planned destruction of the West.

Like I said, they have been slowly working and infiltrating for decades waiting for "the call" and "the moment". Each of which is upon us now.

www.familysecuritymatters.org...

NYT article from 1984

''We believe our center will serve the spiritual and educational needs of nearly 300,000 persons,'' said Mohammad A. Abulhasan, representative to the United Nations from Kuwait.

Mr. Abulhasan is the chairman of the board of trustees of the center, an international group that was granted tax-exempt status as a religious institution nearly 20 years ago by the city for the purpose of building the cultural center and administering its activities.

The group largely comprises countries with large Islamic populations, Mr. Abulhasan said. American-born Muslims in the New York metropolitan area also have been active in the center's planning and financing.

Plans for the center were first announced in the mid-1960's after organization efforts by Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Libya, Mr. Thabit said. Subsequently, a variety of problems arose.

www.nytimes.com.../28/1984&st=cse

I personally believe that the world is now seeing the harvesting of fruits from decades of dedicated planning and manipulation by the Muslim Brotherhood. They were backed by the Nazis and have been backed with clandestine power ever since.

Even if the Brotherhood were to seize Egypt, Israel would still kick their butts all the way, anytime, anywhere.

Egypt could never defeat Israel. Not for the foreseeable future anyway.
