Oh yes I see post-war crazy Lt. Dan. I also see some MAJORLY dilated pupils and droopy eyes. But this doesn't come as a surprise everyone knows hes a hippy.

This is just my opinion but given the nature of most of da vinci's work and beliefs I would say this is referring to sexual duality but probably not physical, Jesus as a man and woman in spirit? Pos neg? Ying yang? The combination of art, science and spirituality were what made him so unique, a renaissance thinker, guarantee there's more to this than you or me could guess!

believe it or not the symbol you speak of appears to be a buddhist mudra. it seems to be a modified form of the mudra for freedom from fear.

Ok I might but I would have to be rich. Would be a good investment though, can't go wrong with a Da Vinci. Although I could think of a lot better ways of spending that amount of money.
