The weapon found near the last attack which resulted in 50-60 civilian casualties had these serial numbers written on it...

30003-704ASB 7492 B(or H)

Lot number - MFR 96214 09

Anyone able to verify what either of those numbers might actually mean?

The mfr code means that it was built on the 214 day of 1996 (julian date code), I think the 09 means the work cell of final manufacture. The first number set is a part number, military specified.
