McJobs: Fast food career the new American dream?

Seriously... This video brings to light alot of points about how this country is FAILING to take care of its own people, yet spending trillions to kill other people...



Ive been saying it for awhile now... in 20 years or so, the only jobs left in america are going to be walmart, mcdonalds, and the military...

We need to do something fast before its too late...

What about the news of McDonalds' in Europe that are installing kiosks instead of cashiers.. Wouldn't that eliminate many...Many jobs from McDonalds... Setting them up to fall perhaps? The economic death blow? "Go ahead get a job at McDonalds.." then bam!.. Maybe I'm just paranoid...

Kind of like that stallone movie and taco bell, cept they got it wrong, it was the creepy clown all along.

The sad thing is, as more and more jobs are lost (the result of too much government growth) eventually there will be few who can afford to eat at McDonalds...

Maybe in the not too distant future McDonalds will be where the highest class citizens gather to eat, inside of heavily armed fortresses with access limited to only those who can pay, or who have government employee ID cards.

I have an internship with Lockheed Martin coming up this summer. Hopefully they can give me a job when I finish HS, so that way I won't have to work at a fast food joint.

Surely the American dream is becoming the NEXT McDonalds not working for them as a wage slave. Where has the entrepreneurial spirit gone from America?

We (any country) cannot make if all we can do is sell each other unhealthy fast food at McD's and cheap junk at Walmart.

Why the entrepernueral spirit is alive and well in me...see I would start prostituting before I'd work at MCDEATH'S!!! Not only that, I'd be one of those madame's who starts a Giant escort service, hey I just got my all time millionaire spirit...Thanks to this thread!!!! And Woodwardjr's reply.

LOL...I was just making a funny...to show how much I deplore McDeath and everything it stands for. I don't even eat their food no more though my children do, but I refuse to work for them, or for my children to work for them. I almost think it's better if my children went to the military, at least there's some honor in that!!! Better pay and benefits, too. Actually I am getting an I.T. degree and if worse comes to worse I'll be starting my own business making custom PC's and setting up networks & security for small businesses and yes, there are still small businesses despite what some posters here think.

I don't eat the food, but recently applied at mcdonalds to help me get through college.. nothing wrong with that.. theyre gonna pay me slave wages, but its the only place hiring until i get through school..

Don't knock it, just cuz you don't like.. I will happily give fat families death burgers so i can start having fun on the weekends
