Maybe it's just me, but I see more honesty here from you leftist-commie-liberals (
) than from the libs on other sites or MSM.
... and from ALL the conservatives in existance

You ask for too much and you might be dissappointed, you might get liberal on you shoe or something.

And I will ask one more time.

Where.
Is.
The.
Liberal.
Outcry.
Over.
His.
Statement?

If it isn't about ideology, then whywhywhywhy are we ONLY reading this on rightwing sites?

That is such an amazing argument. Please be sure to stop by the thread I am going to write about the vile things espoused by Michael Savage to no outcry from the right. I am sure you will add a great deal of sense.

Yes she carries the kid around at campaigns? So?

That part got under my skin. If she didn't take the kid to events she would be called heartless and cruel. People would talk about her neglecting her child to persue personal goals.

The woman made a hard choice to keep a child that will be a burden. She deserves to be comended for making that choice and sticking with it. I'm no Palin fan, but I do comend her for doing something I probably wouldn't be strong enough to do.

Larry Flynt is a man with severe issues, well to be married that many times, be a major player in the porn industry, get saved for a year, get shot, have a kid that hates you etc etc I think the evidence is overwhelming- he offers nothing to civilisation

I think it's all about the shock factor. The drama/attention whores (male and female) have hijacked all political parties.

They are empty hearted souls who know their agenda, their goals are going up in smoke. They thrive when they are destroying others. When the anger and strife dies down, they rear their ugly heads. Sad thing is there doesn't seem to be any down-time anymore. Crush, kill, destroy... (quoting a robot from the old Lost in Space series, lol).

Attention, destruction and material things can make the whores happy for just so long. Their cancer is eating them from the inside out and they don't want to go down without without dragging others with them even if its hurting people who live with down syndrome (adults, teens and little children).

On a side note:
Some of the posts in this thread are cracking me up. I love it

The posters are showing their personality

Before we all condem the man for what he has stated, let us remember one thing: Larry Flint in one aspect is a hero and has fought more for the very right that we all exercise now than many of us have. While his remarks may be distasteful and his actions may seem vulgar, he has defended, even to the point where he is now paralyzed, the right to the freedom of speech. A person like that you can not just discount, cause he, like so many others, were willing to do what it took for the greater of all of the country.

What about the conservative hypocrites and dirt bags? Your thread is kind of bias don't you think? There's plenty of hypocrites and dirt-bags to go around in all the political parties, liberal, conservative and even the new "conservative tea party."

HA! You are a Flynt wanna-be???? Your going to have to try harder, a lot harder.

Flynt is a scraper and knows no other way but the hard way. No wonder this didn't hit too many MSM articles with what he said.
After reading up on this old fart, I think I can somewhat understand why he said what he said about Sarah Palin's son. He is trapped in a wheel chair and can't enjoy life like he use to.
Maybe in his own warped perverted mind he thinks he's doing her son and others like him a service.

Thanks to Flynt, we can have cameras shoved up ourselves and graphic pictures taken and shared
(NOT!)
Thats not what I call a true fight for our First Amendment Rights but hey lets not stifle the opportunity to enjoy the pictures that include animals!
I'm sure if his daughter said "yes" to his marriage proposal he would have fought tooth and nail for that too.
I think he wasn't worth the time it took to print an article on his latest extremism.

Make a thread about conservative dirtbags then. It's interesting that you consider it biased. Pull out a conservative who ridicules children of liberal politicians.

Seriously? When he constantly refers to him as it??

while this particular interview may show a side of LF that you feel is undesirable, it is not without compassion to question if a life lived in pain & suffering, or terribly impaired, is the life one in such circumstance would choose to live were it up to them.

i have seen editorials in LF publication that speak out vehemently against censorship of the written word and many other topics that ATS folks are concerned with. IMHO even though LF sells some trashy photos he is still way better than the politicians.

Clearly he knows nothing about Downs Syndrome... At all...

Thank goodness I read this entire thread to this post. Thank you sdcigarpig, for putting into words my distaste for this thread.

While most of you here aren't old enough to have actually read the articles in his rag, Hustler, in the '70's, I can attest to the fact that there were, and are, many reasons to not believe everything bad said in the press about Larry Flynt.
One memorable series of articles detailed the CIA's killing machines and their third world depopulation agenda.
No one else had the courage to publish anything like that.
It's 35 years later, and it's all still happening. Anyone here want to argue that?

How about this one:

Also in 1983, he leaked a surveillance tape to the media regarding John DeLorean. In the videos, when arresting DeLorean, the FBI is shown asking him whether he would rather defend himself or have "his daughter's head smashed in.". During the subsequent trial, he wore an American flag as a diaper and was jailed for six months for desecration of the flag.

I guess if he'd have put the video on YouTube, he'd be a hero here.

Molested his daughter?
WikiLink

Flynt disowned his eldest daughter, Tonya Flynt-Vega, after she became a Christian anti-pornography activist. In her 1998 book Hustled, she claims that Flynt sexually abused her as a child, often calling her names.[23] Flynt has denied the charges, claiming to have passed a polygraph test and to be in possession of a tape recording of his daughter admitting she made up the accusations for money.

I don't believe he did it, and I don't believe in the lone gunman theory, either.
From above link:

On March 6, 1978, during a legal battle (see below) related to obscenity in Gwinnett County, Georgia, Flynt and his local lawyer, Gene Reeves, Jr., were shot by a sniper in an ambush near the county courthouse in Lawrenceville. The shooting left Flynt partially paralyzed, with permanent spinal cord damage, and required that he use a wheelchair. White supremacist serial killer Joseph Paul Franklin confessed to the shootings many years later, claiming he was outraged by an interracial photo shoot in Hustler. Franklin, who is currently on death row for an unrelated murder conviction, has never been brought to trial for the attempted killing. Flynt has made statements indicating he believes Franklin's story, and some police officials also concur. Flynt's injuries caused him excruciating, constant pain, and he was addicted to painkillers until multiple surgeries deadened the affected nerves. He also suffered a stroke caused by one of several overdoses of his analgesic medications; he recovered but has had pronunciation difficulties since.

"SOME police officials also concur." Although, he: "has never been brought to trial for the attempted killing."

Larry Flynt has always used shock tactics to get attention, and that rubs some of you the wrong way, but "dirtbag liberal hypocrite"?

Same Link:

Flynt is a Democrat though he once attempted a Presidential run as a Republican. He is a staunch critic of the Warren Commission and offered $1 million for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the assassin of John F. Kennedy. He once tried to link the attempt on his own life to the Kennedy assassination. In 2003, Flynt was a candidate in the recall election of California Governor Gray Davis, calling himself a "smut peddler who cares".[36] He finished 7th in a field of 135 candidates.

Deny Ignorance, people. This man, was and is a patriot, regardless of his crude way of making a point.

You're right sdcigarpig, he is a hero.
