Anyone saying he should go to prison, should be put in prison. For a week, then get asked the question again.

Reminds me of some of the braindead reactions to Waco. "The whole ATF is out there, oh look they're sending in tanks, those people are CRAZY! They deserved it!" ... How far can general intelligence fall? That's my question for those of you who claim to be human beings, but completely fail to comprehend the very simplest things.

How idiots in the school & govt reacted to their own mistaken conclusions about the intentions here is their own fault.

Kid should be punished in accordance with going into a girl's bathroom and putting a sex doll in it. Whatever the proper punishment for that is. Community service sounds about right.

This is silly quite frankly. The boy didn't intend for anyone to get hurt, nor did anyone get hurt. He placed a box somewhere inside a school.

If anything, he should simply pay for the detectives and bomb squad to come and determine the contents etc.... and perhaps a punitive fee. Jail time for this would be an outrage.

Hopefully the judge realizes just how silly this all is, gives him some community service or whatever to make up for whatever it cost to send out the bomb squad, and that be the end of that. A felony charge for a prank that did not even have the potential for harming anyone is plain stupid!!!
