My take on witchcraft

Satanists are lumped in with Catholics, Jews, whoever else believes in the standard "God."

Most pagans, wiccans,etc do not believe in Satan. Many do not believe in black or white magic, only people who do good and bad things. And any magic has consequences. Magic is simply the manipulation of energy, if your lucky it has divine guidance.

There are many, many religions that practise magic. To call it witchcraft is to single it to a certain religious group, the witches and/or pagans. To lump them in the same line with satanists gets the witches and pagans up in arms, as they are too separate and different religions. Voodoo is black magic of a christian derivitave. Baptism is a form of magic. Boiling mouse droppings somewhere in Africa and having someone drink it for fertility is a form of magic. So understand the term before you use it so loosely.
