One year I took homegrown strawberries and made ice cream. OMG

Yeah we dont have fresh homegrown ones in Florida, but they are never a dollar, usually about 3 bucks so Im taking advantage of it right now. I like to cut them up and put them in a bowl with a small amount of sugar, shake it and then eat it..mmmmmm.

Plain ole popsicles. I keep boxes of all flavors, and eat them all. Soooo refreshing. My nephew goes through the box and eats all the cherry ones.

I love the tomato sandwiches, too. We could have a thread on how we like our tomato sandwiches.

Mom: Just tomatos with mayo and pepper.
Dad: Lots of salt and raw onions.
Ex husband: lettuce and cheese.
My friend Vanessa: With thinly sliced jalapenos.

Me: With capers, and mayo must be Hellman's. Lots of fresh black pepper. OMG.

Sour Black Cherry juice has to be the nectar that best fills me up with Summer memories, that and caramel apple pops can't explain it just brings me back to my childhood.

I love love love chocolate banana ice cream pops. But because I'm trying to eat healthy I have been making chocolate covered froven bananas. They are almost as good and low cal. Yum!

A really good batch of sun-tea. I also 2nd the beer after a good day of work (the kind where you've sweated all day and the cold drinking water just isn't refreshing anymore). And those great barbeques with good friends and charcoal smoked burgers...mmm....

Favorite summer treat would definitely have to be watermelon for me too.

It would be a treat if we actually had a decent summer here in the UK. My summer treat is being able to wear flip flops t shirts and shorts and sit in traditional british pub beer gardens drinking and smoking a cheeky one
