A friend of mine made a music video for his band, just wanted to share it because I think they're pretty awesome and I wanted to support them in whatever way I could.

Tell me what you think for both the video and the song.

I'm not going to embed it because it's got one inappropriate piece of language at the end, so view this link at your own discretion.

Actually, being the overly jaded 30+ years musician and self appointed critic, I thoroughly expected to dislike it (as I unfortunately do most new music). But, I gotta admit, the song is catchy, and not a total bummout. So, since you are asking for opinions and I have no problem giving mine... I think it's pretty good. Where are they from?

Excuse me, Lars is far from the best. I had to suppress the desire to capitalize.

Yea, but he ruled back in his golden days though... '89 - '92
Still he is one of the best, you can't refute that.

Metallica ruled like no other back then (and still do). But as far as drumming, alone on a pedestal, not even great at all.

To me the best drummers aren't the ones that can necessarily just play insanely fast beats like a monkey on steroids. It's the ones that can create an insanely good and harmonious beat to a melody and maintain tact during the whole process. It's the ones that can hit the cymbals and a combination of drums at the right time. It's the ones that don't steal the songs but that become part of the song while still standing out.

And Lars is the best at that.
I don't want to listen to techno beats. I want to listen metal. If I want techno I go to the disco...
