Someone please tell what this is. I have never seen this before. I was looking at weather around the globe and I spotted this! I have seen radar glitches before, but none like this. This was in the Indian ocean. Any thoughts ? I am talking about the strange streak across the sky down the center of the ocean.

The strange streak in the weather pattern there. Right in the middle of the ocean.

It looks like a zipper. It looks like something very hot zipped right through the lower atmosphere at a high rate of speed.

Are you referring to that rift in the middle of the map, stretching
from top to bottom? Yeah, that's where the world's stuffing is put in.

[kidding]

No. I don't know what that is. Just a graphic glitch I'm guessing?

I went to the site and I think your talking about the strip down the middle. To me this looks like a artifact of the doppler radar. No biggie.

Not sure what time of day that was taken, but when the radar goes from Visible to Infrared at night (or vice versa). You have that kind of artifact.

Your right it does match up.
It looks like it could be a glitch, but they have said that geological events can cause these types of anomalies in the radar images. I hope it would not be a precursor.
