how to un-hide "hidden" forums?

at the top of my recent activity page is a button for "show hidden forums".

I actually remember hiding those forums (political madness, I believe) have before the website upgrade. but with the new site layout, I can't seem to find the setting.


can someone tell me where?!

Click the button show all hidden forums.

Find a thread on the recent posts page from Political Madness, and click the + sign next to the thread and it will permanently un-hide them.

Why do we have hidden forums?

It's an option that allows you to omit a forum of your choosing if you don't want to see a specific forum.

Such as for example if you hate reading about 911 conspiracies you can hide that forum so that those threads do not show up in the recent posts page.

some forums like political madness are unpleasant to witness. you can voluntarily opt out to help save your sanity.

If I hide a forum, it doesn't show any posts in that forum on the recent posts page? I still need some help here.

Derp. Nevermind, I'm an idiot and found it.

Hmm, I've added a forum back again after previously hiding it (to test the feature out) and yet the "show hidden forums" button is still there. Once I click it, there's no option to re add any forum again as well.

Maybe I'm missing something obvious.
