If you read the article it says the exact opposite of the title of the thread.

The ultra conservative clerics are attacking Ahmadinejad's allies.

It has nothing to do with masons.

That's why I supplied the second article. The first article is propaganda. The second post from the Star identifies why there is a distrust in Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei among others. I don't care what organization it is, if it's viewed as a western political pig, it's going to get skewered in Iran.

But you're absolutely right, the title should just read, "Masons being incarcerated in Iran"... I can't change the title now. In any case, whether this was done to discredit Ahmadinejad or not, it was done under his watch.
