Thanks! Too be sure, I have joked about it in prior replies, but Africanized bees have not made their way up
to the North East yet. (I hope). I think they have naturalized in Texas,New Mexico,Arizona, and Southern Cal.
though. I will definately keep an eye out for abnormal comb structure, etc. Thanks for the link as well!

Hoo Haa, I hear you there. Just so you know, One solid source said to feed them honey diluted with a little warm water. The other solid source ( The State Entomologist Report) said NOT to do this because fungal spores in the
honey could wipe out the swarm. Particularly because it is not a local wild swarm, but purchased bees from another
part of The U.S. Either way, both sources said to avoid Corn Syrup at all costs. As far as Hive Honey, I really don't
intend to harvest very much this first year. Unless the hive gets overloaded. I really want them to have as much honey as possible to overwinter this fall.

So far, I havent had any mishaps with the "bad bees".

My wife laughs at me and says I'm the "bee whisperer".

It sounds nuts but I think they can tell if you approach them with respect.

They seem to respond. Its almost like a "psychic" communication.

I can almost "hear" them thinking.

yeah. It sounds pretty crazy.

ROFLMAO!!!

On the links you gave, they have ads for BEE EXTERMINATION!!!!

just thought that was fairly ironic and funny in a dark way.

Hey, I've always been a fan of Schadenfreude!
