New Member! - Conscious | + Rock that looks like eye of lucifer (image)

Hello ATS!

I have been creeping these forums for a while now, but I hadn't really much reason to join. Until a couple days ago, I had visited a friend of mines house, and he said he had something he really wanted to show me!

So he went and grabbed and object and handed it to me. I was BLOWN AWAY.

He said he had been on a nature walk to get away that day, went downtown to throw rocks in the river etc. Upon doing so, he came across a particular rock that he allowed me to photograph with my iPod.

I'm telling you now, the rock is not mine and I had not altered it and neither has he. This image was pulled straight from my iPod just now and I did not open it alter it digitally either.

I just thought I would share that as my first thread and thank-you in advance for welcoming me to ATS!

I don't know about 'lucifers stone' but that's pretty crazy.
Where did he find it? like what state?

I just thought I would call it that because it highly resembles the eye of lucifer.

Welcome to ATS. As for the stone i have no idea. Maybe some tool/artifact from a past civilization.

Interesting - I would say it is an ancient artifact - perhaps native american.
I think the best and easiest way to find out would be to take it to a museum
and see if anyone there has expertise in the field of rocks, arrow heads, ancient
tools, etc. I would not call it Eye of Lucifer, some may be more reluntant to
deal with you IMO. Good luck!

that is not a natural pattern on a stone. It was done by someone. Depending on the age of the rock, you may have an ancient find.

I agree with the others that you may have found something ancient

...or it could very well be someone's long lost art project
