Small earthquake felt in west-central Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS — A small earthquake shook parts of west-central Minnesota overnight, but there are no reports of injuries or damage. The U.S. Geological Survey puts the magnitude at 2.5 and says it struck at 2:20 a.m.

Just came across this on a local news site. Not too far from where I live, though too small for me to feel anything. I don't know the significance (if any) of an earthquake in this area, I just know that in my 10 yrs living here, I've never heard of one, so wanted to bring it to the attention of the more earthquake-savvy to see if it has any significance.
