Sorry about the blank initial post , just read that OIl and Gas exploration leases now are held for 80% of Australia.
The extraction of gas from coal seams is now on full burn increase.
The resultant poisoning of Artesial water and the land has been overlooked by our Leaders as they count the financial benefits to their Piggy banks.
Farmers sre protesting but the Chinese want and the Chinese via Billions of dollars contract for our Gas, as they strive to be the Top Dog of the World.
Communism chinese stalinist style has indeed won out perhaps with Aussie farmers losing their rights to protect their own land.
It will be academic anyway as the Communist Chinese have bought out mass tracts of farmland In Australia.
They have bought out almost entire streets in capital cities such as Melbourne they somehow have lots of money.
Ie they print money then send their agents overseas and out bid Aussies at Auctions.
Australia has been invaded without a single shot being fired.
Our masters are Chinese communists FACT.

Sorry about initial blank post, I believe sincerely that Fracking needs to be examined more closely, a recent muti billion dollar contract has been signed with the Chinese communists, it may result in the poisoning of our water supply.
It may be safe but respected scientists are saying it isnt but no one is listening who make the decisions.
Imagine poisonong your own eco system to supply the Communists.
God why did brave men fight to defend this nation.

Flagged and starred

On top of what you've written, there's the matter of (as you've mentioned) massive tracts of land which have been purchased by the Chinese within Australia

It's been reported in the msm that the Chinese intend to grow produce there, using Chinese labour, shipped out to China via Chinese ships

Nothing in it for Australia or Australians

The land they've purchased was once used to grow produce for Australian and (just as importantly) overseas consumption. That's back when we had a thriving export industry

Look back to Hawke and Keating -- Hawke in particular and all those wealthy Chinese who gave him unlimited access to the gambling fields of China. Hawke of course was another of those infamous Rhodes Scholars and for years headed the equally infamous unions in Australia who crippled the country innumerable times with their strikes calculated and timed so as to destroy Australia's export and tourist industries

Look at the little swine now -- Hawke. What a joke that creature is. And when he was finally ousted, he had the gall to believe he'd make it big in the tv-celebrity stakes

And Keating. Another gem. Although there will still be legions of Aussies who'll defend that black-hearted pair, in the same way legions of Aussies can tell you every ball kicked in each of the 'intellectual content' football matches each weekend, but have no clue about the ongoing destruction of their children's futures

Did you see O'Farrell even hint he'd put a stop to the gas fracking contracts handed out in the minutes before election by the stooge Keneally ? Of course not.

Could you get enough Aussies interested enough in the Chinese buy-out of Australia to make a difference ? LOL. The screens rule in Oz as they do in the rest of the West. New car commercials. Cleavage advertising baby-foods. Buy on credit now and make no payments until 2016. That's all most are interested in, apart from posting photos of themselves on Facebook

Oh well -- at least there's death to look forward to

Might be a different story if science found a way to make people live 200 years. That might prompt them to get off their bums, knowing they'd be forced to live to reap the harvest of their own indifference

As far as the government is concerned the farmland never belong to the farmers in the first place. As for Australia being bought up.They are buying us up, converting worthless US Treasury Bonds into real assests .Wait until that baby comes home to roost .As for the Chinese, I don't blame them at all .Blame your beloved government for selling you out ! As for communism, you do know that Gillard is one don't you? Same with her friends in the Green Party .I heard a classic term for them the other day that had me in stitches.Water Melons ! Green on the outside , communist red on the inside
Anyhow I don't care for labels, communist, socialist, marxist , whatever ! There is only one party politics behind closed doors .That other two party rubbish is just so the sheep can sleep at night .Take this country back, and take it back NOW !

Yeah I believe a lot of the things that the previous posters have mentioned. Could someone link us with some articles to read on this matter. Thank you for bringing more light to this.

Part of that is because Obama banned drilling in the gulf coast and now they are sending the rigs to Brazil and probably Australia too.

Cheer up , when the Chinese come over the land of Flooding plains in their hundreds of thousands or is that Millions or is that Billions, we can sing" I like Chinese, their cute and they only come to your knees"

We have nearly one million people in Australia either unemployed or under employed , most want work want to bulid for their future, yet construction jobs and mining jobs , not to mention lower paid jobs are been given to Overseas citizens who come here on temporary work visas hoping to qualify for permanent residency.

Is this morally defensible , sane people would say no perhaps, but they say Physcopaths have no empathy with anyone but themselves.
Sounds like those who say "the unemployed are lazy and dont want to work", that say Fracking is not a health issue, who say the Chinese communists are our friends.
Tell that to the millions of Chinese who have had the Communist jackboot grind their faces into the dust.
You are right we are brainwashed consumers who worship the Economy.
ANZAC day was on the 25/4/11 ...hypocritical Politicians attended whilst they sign off the sale of their own peoples future Jackbooted dictators.

I was told by an Auctioneers mate recently that the Chinese were buying houses 30 to 40% higher than the reserve price just to secure houses for the Chinese government.
If this is true, then we have lost our nation to printed money.
Imagine the Chinese are just printing money handing it out to Agents who then buy real estate all over the Earth.
Only fools and horses.

The Chinese haven't been communists for quite a while.

Sure, they give that impression. Truth is stranger than fiction though.

Too bad the Australian people haven't done enough to fight back. Sounds like the usual behavior of descendants of convicts.

Our dear PM was only talking about tightening on security/defense relationship with china the other day on the box. Initially this is deemed as bad, as china hasn't gelled with the old allies.

As someone who lived in the UK for a lot of years before returning back to Oz, I can honestly say, from my objective viewpoint, some of the decisions both state and federal government makes is completely short sighted and focused on dollar signs without the knock on effects to business/economy/communities etc.

Our economy is too heavily reliant on exports, and thus we need china as much as china needs our resources. That in itself is a problem, as we need china to buy our resources, china just needs resources. China has been on a mission in Africa tapping up their resources where they can, and should the need arise they will go buy it cheaper down the road if they can get it.

Short sighted profit margins have meant the world has turned to china for cheap goods. In doing so the world has created the monster china will become. The british empire crumbled, the american empire isn't far behind. Whether we like it or not, the chinese empire of financial strength is about to land over the next 10-20 years. Probably staying in place for the rest of our lifetimes.... ok going off subject now.

I suppose the problem with politicians is that their decisions are purely about putting themselves in the best light to ensure repeat election success. None of them dare make a wrong decision, that publicly could damage their reputations - governments the world over have become arrogant and forgot that public assets actually belong the citizens of the county of which the government is an extension. Assets also being the resources. I could go on, but this would turn into a rant-a-thon - I think you can see where I am going here.

It's not about capatalism, communism, socialism - somewhere in the middle of all of these ideals is a solution that is fair, encourages good enterprise, helps those who need it but creates a strong nation. NO political ism has generated it so far, so perhaps the answer lies in the middle ground.

I know I shouldnt reply to such an ignorant racist remark, but just to alleviate your ignorance about Australians, there are less than 1% of us who are descendant from convicts.
Transportation of convicts stopped less than eighty years of first settlement.
For every convict hat initially came there were many free settlers, and a constant stream of new arrivals up until the present day.
Some new migrants have been heard to call native Aussies "convicts" but their knowledge of Australia is about as substantial than yours.
The Chinese leaders are communists still ie they are centralised absolute power wielding Tyrants , who dont give a damn for the poor, only obedience.
But anyway have a nice day .

don't worry, the chinese will consume their selves out of existence very quickly...they always do

their populations cannot support mass financial growth because their economy is a facade in the greater world...the world is going broke and they killed it bu flooding the markets with their cheap products and labor

when they don't get their energy fix is when its all over

After reading your post , and the realistic proposition that China may unsurp the USA from its throne, perhaps we should all be fairer and nicer to the Chinese Government , as we may be all under a World controllled by them shortly.
I admire them considerably it must be difficult keeping over a billion souls in line.
I would love to learn more about their magnificent humanatrianism.
Honest Mum.
I think only those who lived under Hitler, Stalin , and their ilk know why I keep calling them communists when they are like all psuedo reds.
But I do like their food, they havent banned that yet.

Australians are not a "race".

They are descended from Australians whose relatives originally came from Australia.

Om my. People who believe the same as i do about the Australian government! this is very very wrong, soon there will be 5 of us and that makes an anti government / Australian organisation to the MSM
... no body else believe that the australian government is in fact a corporation reporting to a board of directors! that's an order!

The Chinese haven't been communists for quite a while.

No they just like plunging your country further into debt...

Sure, they give that impression. Truth is stranger than fiction though.

Truth is stranger than fiction, which makes me wonder why you said what you did next.

Too bad the Australian people haven't done enough to fight back. Sounds like the usual behavior of descendants of convicts.

So I guess people have never migrated to Australia? I know my family did. Most aussies are not the descendants of convicts. You talk about fighting back, since when have you or any of your country folk stood up to your government or an oil company? After a disaster happened?

You may be right - when I mentioned Monster, I meant it in the general economic sense, for our consumerist/short sighted high profit, low cost concept has helped create China - China has become the factory of the world and we have loved them for it. Not directly of course, but indirectly as prices have dropped and our pollution has gone overseas... if its in someone else's backyard - it's someone else's problem

But who is to say what has happened by American standards of enforcing their policies upon the globe won't soon happen under chinese domination, as also happened under all empires before it?

Smile and be polite and all is well, jump when told, and all is well, believe what you are told without question and all is well. Go against the grain - be ready for some major shakeups!

My major issue with politicians is that most are not capable or carry the intellectual capacity to do their jobs to a standard the people require. Australian politics really pulls together "the old boys club" and listening to their debates on tv is beyond laughable now!

I only just found out, but over a year ago, Terry Redman, minister for food and agriculture in WA, gave an exemption order on GM crops to our lovely friends Monsanto. Here is a nice little press release from our friends themselves:

What I find massively frustrating and concerning is that I would state, most of those farmers also lack the same level of intellect and intelligence that government possesses, and are pushing for a product, they know little to nothing about. Whilst farmers might like more choice, and like to be able to spread their chemicals about a bit, surely informed consumers should be helping to dictate where the market leans, instead of government and big business?

Most people in WA are against the use of GM food, yet our dearly beloved government puts out an exemption order???

Since writing the opening post, a Billionare from India has aquired a 99 year lease on a Port in Qld in order to load approx 60 million tonnes of coal to India.
He plans to run a major Electricity company in India.
Its like we were invaded but they fired notes and coins not mortar shells and missiles.
And we are told to honour the ANZACS ...why?
They would be ashamed of every last one of us.
They died for this?
