Definitely a viral posted to help promo Apollo 18. As I was watching, I was like, this wasn't shot in the 70's, that frame rate is way too good. Then I got to the camera falling over part and knew what it was.

Even the channel is new, with hardley any followers, and 2 extra generic videos to seem more authentic I guess.

I would be inclined to think the OP is either very gullible, or in on it.

Either way, I was already interested in the movie. Stuff like this is kind of a turn off for it though imo.

Yeah thats my first impression but damn, now I have to go see Apollo 18.Movies have been desensitizing us to the possibility of disclosure perhaps it could come in one?If it is advertising it worked on me.Last I heard the movie was pushed back untill jan,6 2012

I googled the movie yesterday and most sites are talking about an August release now, but one story was that at least one theatre would have it this Friday -- tomorrow.

Maybe I ought to go interview the REAL Apollo-18 commander for HIS take on the flap!

When I first saw William Rutledge's [retiredafb] "Apollo 20" crashed ship footage on youtube it did give me pause, so I guess I was a bit gullible myself. But all it took was watching the subsequent, more ridiculous videos to get over it. Still should make for a really cool movie.

Very interesting footage and the skull they found in part 2 was amazing. I don´t think it´s a viral campaign because it has nothing to do with Apollo 18. They talk only briefly about it and that´s all.

OK ... from your analysis I am seeing two theories:

1. It is a legitimate representation of what it is purports to be.

The narrator, Jose Gavidia Abarca participated in the production "Al Otro Lado" ("The Other Side") filmed during the 1970's; and reportedly this episode was 'censored'. The date means this was during the Spanish regime of Generalissimo Franco.... (who yes, is still dead.)

His picture on Facebook is of him as a younger man .. the camera equipment shown seems 70's

The material he presents to the audience as related to Apollo 20 is also pre-"YouTube Apollo 18" footage, and can be found referenced in newer works like Dark Mission. In particular, the reference to the Pyramid, which I did not realize had been noticed by anyone in the 70's, was compelling.

Much of the footage from the Luna Mission was new to me as well. Making this particularly interesting.

2 - Bekmambetov/ Weinstein’s New UFO Movie APOLLO 18 has a slick marketing group making material that should go viral and be particularly stimulating for their audiences. The narrator, Jose Gavidia Abarca, is still alive 30 years later appearing to be as young as ever. (Reptilian?)

Can anyone tell me if that video camera is from the 70's?
Was "Al Otro Lado" a real show back then in Spain?
Was there really 'video' footage transmitted from the Luna mission?
Does NASA acknowledge the "Orange Mission?"

It is sad anyone would believe all of this to be true.

I have never seen this video - which is why i posted for us all to work out if it is real or not...

It seems sincere and legit in its presentation - but some say this is for the new "Apollo 18" movie - well can you prove that please and then we can get rid of this - because i hate that kind of cheap deception.

I have never seen the photos edited together in a flow like way - which is very impressive to view.

I have not seen a lot of the footage shown of these Apollo missions anywhere else.

The photos he shows are the real deal - so they seem legit.
