Barry Minkow Is Charged by U.S. With Conspiracy in Miami

So this guy causes a homebuilder company stock to drop by releasing a youtube video.
A stock that apparently he was short selling and then
he accused them of running a ponzi scheme.

With the cooperation of the FBI & SEC
he was charged on March 24th.

They are investigating further
to see if he was hired to
do this.

Was it a homebuilder company or a national Developer Firm? There are laws against naked short selling and if what he did is true he should get in a lot of trouble. Kind of like conspiracy to commit a crime.

That is very close to my first blush on the story,
but listening closly to the report
(I'm a little suspicious of the MSM)
I noticed they admited that he was released from federal prision
with the mission to root out fraud.

Also the 100% growth of the value of the stock over the past 2 years,
in the face of the horrible housing market,
is a little suspicious.
