First of all, I'm all for standing men or women who hurt children against a brick wall and blowing their brains out, but this pedo question has many dark corners which most people wont venture into because it hints at something which most of us dont want to accept. Kids are growing up and experimenting with sex much earlier than the law would like them to! In the newspapers it was reported how girls as young as 11 were sending pornographic pictures of themselves to each via their mobile phones. Others told of how girls as young as 11 and 12 had propositioned them... The horrible truth is while young boys are climbing trees and playing football girls of a similar age are experimenting with sex and dreaming of their wedding... Girls grow up far quicker than boys and I think any father, me included, who has a daughter will accept that. Trying to keep your 10 year old daughter from wearing make up, and perfume, and revealing clothes, is a full time job. We have young girls making themselves sick so they can stay thin and be attractive to the opposite sex. Girls as young as 11 having babies!!!!
The shops don't help us either. Main stream high street stores selling mini skirts for preteens with the words "Boy Toy" written on the back is immoral yet nobody stops them. We have adult models wearing school uniforms while children wear revealling boob tubes and mini skirts and high heels, and then we wonder why some depraved men, and women, turn their advances to children.
The real problem is two fold...
1. Some children are not allowed to have a childhood like we were.
2. Some children are more grown up than their years and want to have sex...

Also consider this. When I was 11 if a woman of 20, 30, 40 or 50 had offered me sex I wouldn't have thought, here's a woman out to abuse me or rape me, I would have thought all my christmas's had come at once. I would have jumped at the chance to have sex with an experienced older woman...I think this goes for girls as well!

The current paedophilia laws will never work because they try to stop that which, sooner or later, comes naturally to us all. Sex! The only way to stop children involving themselves in sex is to make sure that weak adults who give in to their cravings and indulge in sex with under age girls and boys realise that they are going to be put in prison for a long time. Kids wanting to have sex have to be saved from the harm they can do to themsleves by adults who should have more sense than to put their own safety at risk. In essence, kids need saving from themselves.

I said this before, and got no stars. Maybe it got overlooked, maybe yall think Im a tool, but....

...I am so glad they actually went after the real perps this time,actually rescued kids, instead of wastingtime with police state tactics going after users.

Great post! Thanks for the well thought out and socially relevant response. As the father of an 11 year old boy, I am trying to steer him clear of many of the misconceptions I had about sex that led to many of the mistakes I've made in my relationships with women. Desiring spiritual intimacy but expressing that desire physically can be counter-productive. I think fundamentally we all start out wanting, even desperately needing, that intimacy. Our first experiences with the physical expression of intimacy shape how we respond and who we seek it from. The initial exposure parameters are crucial. Carefully but circumspectly monitoring the progression through puberty and keeping open honest communication help a young person immensely in developing a healthy approach to spiritual and physical intimacy.

I do agree that once a person has become corrupted by bad influences in this area, it is very difficult to undo the damage caused, and long term or permanent separation from society at large may currently be the only answer.

This site is so damn corny.
I remember people here were defending that pedophile that wrote that book.
