The federal government posted its largest monthly deficit in history in February at $223 billion, according to preliminary numbers the Congressional Budget Office released Monday morning.
That figure tops last February’s record of $220.9 billion, and marks the 29th straight month the government has run in the red — a modern record. The last time the federal government posted even a monthly surplus was September 2008, just before the financial collapse.
Last month’s federal deficit is nearly four times as large as the spending cuts House Republicans have passed in their spending bill, and is more than 30 times the size of Senate Democrats’ opening bid of $6 billion.

His campaign slogan should have been Hope, Change, Bankruptcy. It’s easy for Obama, who has the ability to run up record deficits and to hire tens of thousands of new federal employees and then to fault cash-strapped states.
They are killing us!

Putting this all on one party or person is just playing ball with tptb. If you ask me it's time for a government overhaul, one thats not directed by parties that are puppets to special intrest groups and corporations.

Exactly, people needs to come to terms that is not one party fault is both elite corporate run parties, America has not been for the people since corporate interest took over, be aware that when it comes to corporate interest and profits we the people means nothing to them, this entities are making laws passing laws and buying any honest politician that they can use in their favor they also own the supreme court.

The corruption running in our nation is rampant and is making our nation reverse from what it was the peoples prosperity to corporate slavery.
