Large quakes In Easter Island Region

People who are trying to watch where faults may developing or trying to piece together some data may find this interesting. I am not sure where easter island is or if that region would have any impact/effect on somewhere else nearby.

It's about 1500 miles west of Santiago Chile. Easter Island is a volcanic high island

my sympathies go out to those who were injured and killed... interesting how many quakes we've had in the past few weeks...

Aah, thank you so much. Yes, there has been alot of activity in Chile. Had no idea where Easter Island was, I always keep thinking of Ireland or Scotland.
