People who are trying to watch where faults may developing or trying to piece together some data may find this interesting. I am not sure where easter island is or if that region would have any impact/effect on somewhere else nearby.

It's about 1500 miles west of Santiago Chile. Easter Island is a volcanic high island

Aah, thank you so much. Yes, there has been alot of activity in Chile. Had no idea where Easter Island was, I always keep thinking of Ireland or Scotland.
