I am tired the liberal attitude brought on by the obama adminitstration. It seems like every time i come on here, i see something new about some liberal yahoo crying and screwing up freedom for everybody else. I, for one, have had it. When I was growing up, this country used to be free. We used to be a great nation that got things done. We got things done because we spent our time with our heads down, hard at work, instead of crying about someone who said something you didn't like. You can't say anything in this country anymore. I wonder what would happen to my thread if I called Obama the N-word. I'm not going to. Im just saying. Freedom in this country has turned to S***.

Conservatism is common sense.

Conservatism is freedom.

Conservatism is values.

Conservatism is right.

this man knows the score.

But how do you really feel? BTW change is not usually accomplished by way of name calling, ranting, and profanity. Change comes from measured thought, not from anger.

Change via anger is fascism.

When I was growing up, this country used to be free.

Please give me some detailed examples of how you are no longer "free".

Oh...and nice creative way of being able to call Obama the "N-word" without really saying it...real nice and classy.

Me, I'm tired of how this nation is continually divided by Liberals and Conservatives, Republicans
and Democrats. I'm tired of the way that one keeps pointing to the other as the cause of all our
problems. I'm tired of people watching too much television and listening to MSM and believing
their lies. I'm tired of the fact that people will look to their fellow citizen here in America as the
reason for all their problems because TPTB point them in that direction and away they go
just like sheep instead of showing a little guts and looking at the real cause of the problem.
Liberal or Conservative?? WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As long as you continue to believe your opposing
political party is the cause of America's problems NOTHING WILL EVER BE SOLVED!!!

Amazing how americans cannot understand passive males.

theres a difference between being PASSIVE and being an ACTIVE crybaby. You don't like what someone has to say? Don't listen to it. Change the channel. But RESPECT the right that person has to say whatever the eff they want. I understand passivity. I don't understand or tolerate little crybaby sissies.

Liberalism and conservatism are two sides of the same coin. They are inextricable reactions to a problem, or situation. Indeed, there would be no need for conservatism if there were not liberalism, and no need for liberalism if there were not conservatism.

The problem is not liberalism, it is the far left who have in their own conservative dogma - they cling rather stubbornly to Marxist ideology - hijacked liberalism. The Founding Fathers of the United States of America were, for all intents and purposes, liberals. It was King George and his loyalists who were the conservatives of that day. Conservatives by nature conserve. If an American conservative today is not conserving the Constitution for the United States of America, then that conservative is seeking to conserve something else, and the problem with this is that, taking the "neo-con" for example, they tend to take a remarkably liberal view of the Constitution.

In my humble opinion, it is folly to fall prey to the liberal/conservative paradigm of division. Ironically, there are many who argue that falling prey to the right/left paradigm of division is folly, and will even go as far as to argue that there is no left/right paradigm, and it is an invention by those mysterious and so called "TPTB". There is no doubt a left, and no doubt a right, and then there is a center. Liberals can easily adopt a rightish ideology, and conservatives can easily adopt a leftish ideology, as should be evident by many union members who are steadfast in their conservatism of that ideology.

Freedom does not care what side of the political fence one stands, only that the unalienable rights of all people are respected and honored. Petty tyrants can be either left, or right, and indeed, they can be either liberal, or conservative. Ideology is not what guarantees freedom. Due diligence and a healthy jealousy guarding that freedom, and a zealous defense of that freedom is what comes closest to guaranteeing it. Of course, as long as there are petty tyrants, then there is no guarantee of freedom.

Just who exactly is the rightest?

The women who is pregnant or the baby she is carrying?
The person who is slowly dying from cancer and wishes to die or the people who care for him and are against it?
People who smoke in public places or the people who don't want to die from second hand smoke?
Those who want to carry guns or those who don't want to be killed by them?
The government who cares for all it's people or the government that cares for those who can care for themselves?

I'm sure that most of you arrogant fools claim to know such answers; only fools would make such claims. You have no right to come in here and dictate what is right and what is wrong, Democracy exists because of different opinions! Saying that you're tired of something you oppose is in direct conflict with what democracy represents. What you want isn't a democratic country, what you want is a dictatorship that suits your own egoistic and narrow perspective of what you claim is right.

What's wrong with this world is people that lack civility such as yourself.

The insidious rise of credentialism and the multitude of licensing schemes where local, state, and federal governments insist that any person doing business must first obtain a license to do what is often times an unalienable right to do, is just one example of lost freedom. Of course, credentialism has existed for generations now, and it is doubtful that the O.P. has ever known a time when the United States was ever truly free.

The United States imprisons more people per capita than any other industrialized nation in the world, and a large portion of those in prison are there because of invented victimless crimes.

A multitude of "alphabet agencies" have become even more emboldened since 9/11, and many of those administrative agencies were too bold to begin with. When the FDA feels justified in charging an Amish farmers property armed, simply because that farmer was selling to willing customers raw milk, it is not too difficult to see how freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose.

This nation has never been about and will not ever be about "My way or the highway!" as that ship has sailed and if you are apart of that thinking my suggestion to you is to go after it and board it as that ship is out to sea now.

The right here in America have hijacked Government and like little kids who were never taught right from wrong are like kids throwing a temper tantrum when the slightest thing is changed. This nation is about comprimise. Not the only comprise is that on the left and none from the right, that is not comprise, that is a dictatorship. This has been the discourse of Govt for the last 30 years and quite frankly is destroying this nation. When one side controls the Govt the side who does not should have enough respect for the nation to not be like a rabid dog with rabies about to duke it out with another dog over found roadkill. Temper tantrums do considerably more harm then it does good and is used everytime to trick everyone into forgetting about the task at hand. That task is the utter and complete end of both the "Left-V-Right" paradigm and any other group of idiots and incompetent morons who should be flipping burgers and not deciding matters pertaining to national defense. The iq level of your average Congressperson used to be in the top 30% group nowadays that's as low as top 60% which tells me that the Congress has in fact gotten dumber and stupider.

It is time to only elect ADULTS to the Congress and not little kids who deserve to be seated at the kids table.

I class myself as a CENTRIST LEANING LIBERAL means I am Centrist in stances but liberal in ideas.

But I will say this and every single Conservative needs to listen up and listen good, to cite as a master reason for being against any person or any piece of legislation just because it was introduced by a liberal does not mean a thing and if that is how you decide stances then you should not be apart of the political process as you clearly have no idea what you are even either going against or being for hence why only the smart people should be involved in political discourse. If that is all you take away from politics then you need to be re educated in civics and how Govt works. To fly the Confederate Flag is not a right as the nation whose flag that was is no more and will not ever be allowed to rise again and represents everything that once was wrong with this nation. An era where racism dictated the policy and one long done and over never to return.

What freedoms specifically has anyone really lost? None, that's right, all a lie in order to get y'all riled up filled full of hate and anger for clearly no reason at all other then to distract you long enough so that TPTB can take over. The entire GOP is playing right into their hands and no one is aware of it.

OP? Are you in prison for something that was legal in the 50s?
I do not undestand how you are no longer free. I am free and I'm also an American citizen. Did I miss the memo?
