When I despair, I remember that all through history the ways of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end they always fall. Think of it--always.

Hard decision to make. I have many favorites, but if forced to choose, it's probably this one:

"This above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man."

----phrase spoken by Polonius in Hamlet, by William Shakespeare

"Monkey see monkey do, rather be dead than cool".

From nirvanas stay away song, which probably was the most important song i heard in life. Help me understand to stay away from females forever, and even long before i had contact with them. I made the right choice and saw them for what they are.

That one song was more important to my life than any of my alevels, and i was right.

Thank you kurt cobain, the only star i ever looked upto.

Some of mine are:

"Geology is just Physics slowed way down with trees stuck in it" Terry Prachett (I may have misquoted that, it has been a while and I couldn't find it onlline. So caution, may be a paraphrase.)

“In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.” Terry Prachett

“The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it” Terry Prachett

Here's mine. " The question isn't who's going to let me, it's who's going to stop me. "

I've always found this quote deep cause it can apply to so many things on life.

The quote below was spoken by the character Lazarus Long in Robert Heinlen's book, "Time Enough for Love", and I think it sums up most things today;-

"Never underestimate the power of human stupidity"

Roy.
