'Jesus was HIV-positive': South African pastor sparks outrage with bizarre claim

www.dailym ail.co.uk

A South African pastor has provoked outrage after beginning a recent sermon with the claim that Jesus Christ was HIV-positive.
Xola Skosana stunned his congregation in Cape Town's Khayelitsha township with the bold statement, news of which then quickly spread across the country.
And Christians have reacted angrily, claiming it portrays Jesus as sexually promiscuous.
'The subject of my Jesus being HIV-positive is a scathing matter,' said another local pastor, Mike Bele.

'I believe no anointed leader with a sound mind about the scriptures and the role of Christ in our lives would deli

Trying to make the horrible situation in your country sound better by saying Jesus had HIV is hilarious.

Of course this means that Jesus was sexually active (Mary Magdalene was a prostitute or something of that nature no?) or he was into some kind of crazy needle sharing drugs back in his day... And then someone mentioned to this guy that HIV wasn't discovered until the 1980's.

If people like this keep spreading misinformation/stupidity about AIDs (like having sex with a virgin can cure you) to an audience, the situation isn't going to get any better.

I just typed in HIV on the main field and then Jesus on the secondary search term. It was the first result. :/

It is not that bizarre to some folk.

Some actually argue that Jesus would be a socialist.

I guess they do not understand the “Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s”

Wow what a claim. It is all just publicity seeking. But I suppose Jesus was a fictional character so any scenario can be applied!

Cheers

Nor do they understand the whole splinter in a neighbor's eye when you have a log in your own eye thing.

Nor do they understand the whole do unto others thing.

Nor .....do I have to continue?
