Lol yeah apparently they can't tell me LOL. But I just wanted to give an update on the whole situation. Doubt there is a conspiracy here. I just wanted to put this out there so people could have a chance to see their "official" response.

I would hardly call a Facebook response "official"
I agree, however...I doubt there is any conspiracy here.

C'mon guys, they're skydivers. i.e. Thrill Seekers, Fun Seekers... Do you actually think they take much of anything seriously?
Think hard about the reply and the reason they would state such a thing. Again - Seriously, if they are not tempting fate via gravity, inhaling Amyl nitrite and pleasuring each other while reciting lines form Point Break and/or Road House they are looking for some new & excitement stimuli.
Hence, their latest stimulation, The Mind F@%k they have perpetrated against the easily deceived.
I have to admit, I am looking forward to seeing how this gets blown out of proportion...

I missed these el paso lights, but just saw the most recent video from the guy at his kids baseball game while filming the lights and they look to be coming down slowly. His video cut off before I could see much, but did the original show the lights eventually floating to the ground? Did the lights ever go upward? Seems if they slowly only move towards the ground then it was the G Knights. Have to agree with a previous poster..these guys would be pranksters, they derive they daily thrills from jumping out of airplanes!
yeah, no parachute. You see these three lights, then for a short moment toward the top of the frame at :56 you can see another one. There was a first one before all this though! That's what made me get my camera. That one was going down like the rest (tail n all)- stopped, went to one side and immediately disappeared! As i took out my camera this other one appered that split into 3 then the 4th.
There was actually more going on in the sky than the video shows. I work at a golf course in between east and north east el paso and saw everything going on. There was one single light that actually flew horizontally from the east to where they show the video. After some time of flying it started falling downward where it broke up into the three lights. They hovered around a bit before they just disappeared. The lights looked to be situated in the middle of the city where we have an airport. It would seem risky to have the airshow practicing over the airport at night. I can't explain what it was but it just seemed strange. On top of that, a few weeks prior there was actually another incident of lights that we saw. This was located more north and there were four lights kind of slowly falling in the sky. The bottom light would disappear at a certain point and then another light would appear on the top. We figured it was flares or something but it kept happening in the same spot for about twenty minutes and we couldn't see any lights from a plane that would be in the area.

They couldn't confirm or deny it because the video from the News cast was black and white and completely out of focus. They probably didn't have time to study it as we did, and didn't recognize it.
You should have asked them if they did practice jumps on Oct. 15th at night instead.... But there is no point in doing that because we have video of them jumping on Oct. 15th at night with flares/fireworks.
Also, Airsho officials confirmed it was the G.Knights to the other News crew.... and even I called the Airsho and they said the same thing to me.
So... this is busted and does not deserve another topic.edit on 18-10-2010 by 0ne10 because: (no reason given)

Airsho officials said the lights were from a practice run for an exhibition called "The Flight of the Golden Knights."
