you seem to be confusing facts with opinion.

regardless, this is getting way off topic. Can we stay with the premise of the OP? I dont want to debate partisan talking points.

much like how mccain and palin were sacrificed in them 2008 election the gop received too much damage from the bush years and remember its manipulation the left planned and orchestrated a brillant move to get into power in 2008. the left wing damage machine was clearly effective bush was never as bad as the left made him out to be everything single thing you know about bush was to get you to hate- hate the right and the republicans.

Bold mine

I'm sorry. I dont agree with this premise whatsoever. Can you back up these opinions with something resembling evidence for a skeptic?

Ya he is foolish to the core-

He did not even recognize the crash, the war, FISA, Patriot ACT, new government departments, spending, secrecy, on and on.

He is cares not about facts because apparently he thought the worst economic disaster in history was pleasant. I am convinced his employed for W -

PS he and I have eachother on ignore, however I still see his idiocy in other peoples posts

I agree with you. As a great man has said "Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left." ... That man is Clint Eastwood. That idea in mind has many truths. I am tired of politics because they all share the same agenda in the end... well it maybe not even that. The truth is that it will always benefit that side. We are all human (most of us physically but I may be wrong in the end as well heh). To debate politics is like beating your head into a wall. Sure it makes sense and gives a person pride; but really it separates us. I do have more international concerns/american vs illegals of the sorts; but Really.. come on now. There is no reason to have separate parties because that alone devides us as a nation. So initially there are independents, democrats, republicans, and moderates on both sides... that divides this nation at least 5 different directions. No we shouldn't conform to one decision, but respectively we shouldn't fight each other so much. It used to be about helping each other out one way or another... and it has transcended into individual rights and the minority (not always a problem but it is making a larger one trying to appease each small individual who may or may not legally be here). Watching the national news each day on either side has driven me near insane with anger. I apologize if I am not able to deal with the events day to day about each social issue. Everyone nit-picks and it is bloody near time to end that childishness... man up world!!! Quit crying over spilled milk or words... but value the actions taken and react upon those vs. condemning over mere thoughts and words... meh....

And as far as illegals go -- as it sort of ties into the political debate I feel I can address it now; illegals need to go and not be given the right to be here just because they are here. We need to establish English as the dominate language in this county of the U.S. of A. All other countries have very strict rules upon illegal entry. We are pushovers. I respect other countries and cultures; so don't lable me as a downer.

Cheers!

you dont need to 'move on'. just discuss the topic, instead of baiting for a reason to turn this into a partisan debate so you can reel people in to refuting absurdest talking points.

the 'moderation' around here seems schizophrenic.

Well i read your theory, and you have mentioned another possibility.

The problem with that tactic ...

They can be called on not doing their best to stop them

By not taking the house and senate they enable one risk... The democrats succeed in their attempts..

The economic equation does not equal out in the long run because ...allow me to make a prediction both parties are very well aware of... This countries economic woes will be getting worse much worse....

I know some people do not like the author of rich dad poor dad but he made a good point in one of his books

The baby boomers are retiring soon. They will be taking from the market instead of putting in... This will change the upcoming cycle..

A crash is coming... stock up...

Now back to this... If the republicans let the dems win they also have a major disadvantage.. With everyone hurt changing horses will not be the smartest thing...

Allow me a moment to word what tactic I was thinking of..

If in control of the legislature, the pass a whole slew of material objects to. He will line item veto them... Say repeal the health care bill. They can paint the o-man very negatively. He constantly stands in the way of our attempts to fix the problem. then trout out the vetos....

They will not control enough votes to overturn the vetos.... enough to pass the bill but not override the veto..

I see it as the most profitable plan.. They might go your way... for we know they intend to play it as an if then scenario.

good call... i like the view point...

BTW to the post over matching this to facts... This whole thing is more an art like gambling. yes there are numbers but it is how the cards are played due to what cards are available. This is more of an attempt to guess which way the frog will jump.

This is an attempt to use analysis where no set of mathematical terms have been made public that enable accurate predictions yet...

Their attempts at what, specifically? Restoring the economy?

I don't think the Republicans want enough 'power' in the Congress because Obama will likely call them on their ideas and seek to implement them. Despite all the nonsense rhetoric about 'socialism', Obama is actually quite the centrist, and has already shown a keen interest in integrating many fiscal conservative ideas. At this point, the Republicans can pretend the state of the economy is all the Democrats fault. But if they get power, then they will have to answer to voters in 2012 for their complicity in the economic situation this country is in.

thanks. i see it as an analysis based on the observed actions of both parties and their clear and obvious intent at maintaining power, not actually SOLVING any problems.

So, this so-called 'tea party' is really just a way to keep the social conservatives engaged and interested, while still effectively splitting the vote int he same way Ross Perot did in the 90's and some say Nader did in 2000.

By utilizing the astro-turf tactics of the Tea Party, they can rile up the social conservatives who make up the majority of their base, while at the same time effectively dumbing down the level of debate in this country with all the moronic accusations of 'Socialist", ensuring that lefties are never given a chance to push Obama further to the left because they are busy trying to explain that one cant be a Mulsim and Communist at the same time.

Then, when election times comes around, and the elections end up being basically a wash for both parties, the riled-up social con masses will have more opportunity to feel marginalized and maligned, which the Republicans/Tea Party can harvest for a massive takeover in 2012.

That's the C-O-N-Spiracy, folks. Pay attention.
