I see no reason to take this decision from males. They can make it for themselves when they come to an age to do so.

I respect that any benefits or religious reasons are their's to make on their own behalf.

What a load of crock. Almost 80% of Caucasian American males are circumcised for cleaniness reasons.

Almost all of you fail to know the following people do circumcise their young sons and it's not only the Jews:

1. The Jews

2. The Muslims

3. Most Arab Christians

4. Armenians

5. Cook Islanders (and many other Pacific Islanders for religious purposes)

6. High society (Elite) of the Spanish & Hispanics

7. Egypt - all Muslims and Coptics

8. Most of Kenyans

9. Most Ethiopeans

10.Most of the Phillippines

11.Most of Ghana

12.Most of the USA

13.other Ethinic groups in Africa

14.Majority of the Military in most countries

Although a majority of Caucasians were circumcised up until the late 1970s, there was a dramatic downturn and only now is circumcism now appearing to increase again.

But in the most civilised and less religious countries it is a minority and some are considering making it illegal.......and rightly so.

No, Your religion will fail before common sense, which is why circumcision has declined in the most civilised and least religious countries......and that's a fact.

You see in a modern non religious world there is absolutely no reason to circumcise a child other than the odd medical necessity.
