Less variety, plus unable to 'make favourite' any forums since ATS revamp?

Two very brief issues of concern - number one - I can't find links to make any specific forum a 'favourite'..?

Number two - and more important:

Have you noticed how the 'popular topics', 'hot topics' and 'member favourites' etc seem to be staying the same for days on end now (since the skin/format change)..?

This would appear to be because the full lists of threads (most recently posted thread or thread replied to at the top of the list), are no longer displayed on accessing a particular forum. Instead you need to click a miniscule, indistinguishable link - practically 'hidden in plain sight' on the left hand side of the page. People who dip in and out of ATS are likely to only look at, comment on and flag... the MASSIVE FONT 'Top Topics'.

It's harder (for anyone - this isn't a personal grumble) to get noticed, and the place is getting duller by the minute!

If you could you see fit to incorporate the full thread list on each forum's home page, and simply section off portions of the page to highlight the top rated threads etc; that would solve the problem, making ATS more funky and full of variety once more.

Favourites used to change by the minute - the variety of subject material was awesome on hitting the actual ATS home page (from a google search or whatever). Now, it must seem (to any newcomer or occasional/casual lurker) that we all chat about the same things for ages... Not great for increasing traffic or developing new member interest?

My two cents - thanks for considering them.

The link, "make favorite," is at the top-right of every forum index, easily accessible from the Discussion Board home

Actually -- via the links mentioned above, which have not changed -- the new forum indexes have been enhanced to offer sorting by flags and replies, not just recent replies (the prior default).

For additional questions, please use the ATS 2010 Updates thread.
