Voting polls for thread topics that have gathered interest?

I wouldn't mind if we had polls we could vote in relating to popular thread topics. You could vote, yes, no, or see results. Something simple.

For instance I just read a thread talking about alien ships predicted to hover over big cities on October 13th.
The poll question could be Do you think alien spaceships will hover over large cities on October 13th?
