If you think the neocons and their PNAC are just going to fade away; you are mistaken. The neocons play the GOP like a $10 fiddle. They are brilliant, dedicated, focused, well funded, politically ruthless and EVIL.

The TEA PARTY IS A SHAM - sorry, it is...

It is a GOP rebranding effort, nothing has changed but the date

They took a valid Ron Paul creation and $harted all over it.

Now it is a costume,,, custom built, direct line to masses, strictly to pipe in more of this paranoid xenophobia the GOP started with in 08

The neocons pretend they are CONSTITUTIONALISTS

The constitutionalists and libertarians are glad that their ideas are heard, so everyone ignore the simple fact and truth of the matter. It is like a baptism of Bullcrap...

The same people who stuck their heads in the sand during Bush are there, ALL of them, nothing has changed.
They are even coming out of their shameful refuge to service ol GWB's record because the ploy has worked.
SHOW ME ONE GOP POTUS contender who is not a NEOCON - just 1. They have no more liber in there tarian
than a goddamned pine tree.

So I'm tiered of it, I am fighting back, its better than being pissed upon by a bunch of pathetic liars.

Wow

Apparently there truly are people out there who believe Obama is not attacking Yemen... wow!

attack on an alleged al-Qa’ida training camp in Yemen that killed 41 local residents, including 14 women and 21 children.
The fact that so many of the victims were actually women and children indicates that the attack was in fact grossly irresponsible, particularly given the likely use of cluster munitions,” said Philip Luther, Deputy Director of Amnesty International's Middle East and North Africa Programme.

Shortly after the attack some US media reported alleged statements by unnamed US government sources who said that US cruise missiles launched on presidential orders had been fired at two alleged al-Qa'ida sites in Yemen.

www.amnesty.org...

The photographs enable the positive identification of damaged missile parts, which appear to be from the payload, mid-body, aft-body and propulsion sections of a BGM-109D Tomahawk land-attack cruise missile.
[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/6099f111a265.jpg[/atsimg]

A further photograph, apparently taken within half an hour of the others, shows an unexploded BLU 97 A/B submunition itself, the type carried by BGM-109D missiles. These missiles are known to be held only by US forces and Yemeni armed forces are unlikely to be capable of using such a missile.
[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/e0ca712647d9.jpg[/atsimg]

The operations, approved by President Obama and begun six weeks ago, involve several dozen troops from the U.S. military's clandestine Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), whose main mission is tracking and killing suspected terrorists.

Obama has ordered a dramatic increase in the pace of CIA drone-launched missile strikes into Pakistan in an effort to kill al-Qaeda and Taliban members in the ungoverned tribal areas along the Afghan border. There have been more such strikes in the first year of Obama's administration than in the last three years under President George W. Bush, according to a military officer who tracks the attacks.

www.commondreams.org...

Is this enough for you, or can we move on from the Obama is Attacking Yemen And Pakistan dispute, which I didn't even know until now was actually a dispute.

Costa Rica

This time they are occupying the hostile country of Costa Rica as 46 US Warships plus 7000 marines have invaded that tiny country under the guise of enforcing drug trafficking.

Whatever the reason the United States has no legitimate business invading the confines of Costa Rica or any other nation which has not physically threatened our nation and/or our people. Instead, it appears our leaders have chosen to defend corporations using our people as pawns.

I hate Elitists!

When I go to a doctor, I don't want him/her to be elite.
When I want my lawyer, I don't want him/her to be elite.
When I want a police officier to protect me, I don't want him/her elite.

ok, sarcasm mode is over.

We need elitists in life. Just sad that the Conservatives hijacked the word and made it something negative.

Last time I checked, George W. Bush was an elitist a**hole.

Who did you vote for? You do vote?

I'm a liberal who wants equality.

Equality for all or just those who agree with you?

I'm a liberal who wants gun restrictions for the safety of Americans.

I hope you mean you are not opposed to hunting, target shooting or self-protection? They pose no risk to you, only criminals with guns pose a risk. A gun is an inanimate object. An axe, shovel, pick, nail gun, knife, chisel, ice pick and many other common items pose an equal risk until a criminal uses one to commit a crime.

I'm a liberal who wants gays to get married because it's unconstitutional to prohibit them from doing so.

I think most of America does not care either way. I don't care who marries whom if they would just stop talking about their sexual orientation non-stop and stop prancing around exposing themselves in front of children in parades. That part is not Gay, its just perverts.

I'm a liberal who doesn't like war.

We all hate war. Sometimes it has to happen. Afghanistan I agree with, Iraq I do not. WW1 I agree with, Vietnam I did not.

I'm a liberal who doesn't like oil.

I don't like it either but I'm rational. Alternatives are years away and we have to deal with energy needs in the meantime. The US is improving constantly on that front. You need to direct that anger at China and India where the future problems will be. We all want a clean environment, but lies like Global Warming wont get us there and will only make Gore and others fabulously wealthy while millions starve to pay for their folly and greed. The greed on the Left is just as bad as the greed on the Right.

I'm a liberal who doesn't want his country back, but forward to be a better nation for my children.

We all want that but the current Administration who has raised the Deficit by more than all other Administrations in history combined does not seem to care. You should be glad you did not vote for Obama.

You're right, we are the cancer of nation. We actually Care about it.

That does not mean much unless we know your stance on the spending binge Obama and Congress are on right now. We all care; the sane among us anyway. It's the way to get there we don't agree on. Fighting and being divided just lets the scum who run the Democratic and Republican Parties destroy us faster. Supporting them on either side is suicidal at best.

The only sane Party for anyone to belong to is no Party. I don't subscribe to any Party. Both are the same. By keeping us at each others throats, they can do as they please to us. Having an R or a D next to your name labels a person as naive and controlled.

Bush / Obama = Same Thing, Different Costume.

I agree with you 100%, except about gun control. I think the Constitution was pretty clear about the right to bear arms. How can we Liberals criticize Conservatives for ignoring the Constitution and/or picking and choosing when many Liberals are against Gun rights. Which is a Constitutional right.

This is actually pathetically funny. You are all completely proving the effectiveness of the divide and conquer strategy. This is a total rant by both sides about how bad the "other guys" are while none of you see the forest because of the trees. All the same crap is being done, by each "administration", it is just being ratcheted up a notch by the people that have the real power, faster and faster, yet everyone still says, "Eh, yeah, that's just the way it is," and keeps staring at the TV. How deep does it have to go before you finally realize you are getting #$%#ed in the #&^?????

There is so much left/right talk in this country (US) now. Forget about the domestic and Islamic threats. What about China? Maybe the newest "Cold War" is being fought via manipulation of currency and markets and electronic espionage. What's the first rule of prestidigitaion? When you watch your news, please realize that the only thing slanting it one way or the other is money. Not some pre-ordained agenda, just revenue. Money! Can you people not see where the money has been coming from since the '90's?

The Republican Party of today is far more radical than I can even remember, even from my studies of American political history. The Democrats and Republicans weren't radically different before '64, most legislation had heavy bipartisan support.

The Democrats have become more Liberal, BUT NOT MORE SOCIALIST. If you looked closely you would see that in an American Political context that the two parties, prior to '09, looked a lot alike on the economy. If the Republicans weren't hell-bent of opposing anything that the Democrats touch then more than 70% of Obama's legislation would have more than 10 Republicans supporting it in the Senate and probably 50 supporting it in the House. The major dividing issue prior to '09 was the culture wars, that is why you hear Republicans use the word Elitist, it's a Culture War rallying cry.

To fight a culture war is simple minded nonsense, all you have to do is throw around some nationalistic and religious words and rail against academia and everything not "Average".

If you think the Democrats of today are Communists you would have thought the Republican Party of '63 was Communist as well and the Democrats would be off the left-wing charts. The Democrats of today ARE THE REPUBLICANS OF 50 YEARS AGO.

I strongly doubt that

Obama increased military budget by 11%, the republicans were elected to end the vietnam war, the republicans were elected to end the korean war.

nope, not the same to me!

The republicans illegally invaded or continued to illegally invade countries in the 50s?

Robert Taft, Einsenhower... read about them and tell me that again!

I think the Republican Party/Tea Party/Glenn Beck folks are the true cancer in this country.

But, we should remember that they're all part of one bird with two wings (Left and Right) and it's nothing new. One wing comes to power and the other complains and visa-versa.

They're all a cancer to this country.

I am not a Liberal, but I can sign off on some of your views. I oppose the current Liberal Congress and President because, in the broadest terms, they are pro-big government and I am an anti-big government kind of guy. I am not anti-government -- but it is growing too big and powerful. I believe that individual liberties diminish as government grows in scope and power. I see this in the Obama administration and I saw this in the Bush administration too. Just more so with Obama. I wouldn't go as far as the OP to call it a cancer, but, once the government through its employees gets their hands on money and power, they will fight to keep it. "Gridlock" sounds okay to me if it stops or even slows the continuing expansion of the federal government.

Commander Chaos, that is true to some degree... However I do not believe it is the exclusive truth... There are somethings that differ, I think to believe the contrary is just as unrealistic. These lies have been unquestioned
and they have festered, it is paying off. Look at all the people who buy the BS and ignore the legitimate concerns.
