I recently discovered a typo in a post of mine (I do that embarrassingly often). When I went to correct it I was given this announcement:

You have exceeded the maximum window of 4 hours allowed to edit your post.

Fine. Except that the post was only two hours old.

It's variable. I've been able to edit posts from around 8 hours later to a minimum of 4 hours. The question has been asked dozens of times and the answers have been in conflict with members' experience.

Seems 4 hours is guaranteed and it can stretch to up to 8 hours if your horoscope was favourable on the day.

There have been glitchy items through the transition to 2010, this is likely one. Hopefully once everything is live we'll have time to dig into the wonky bits.

Nobody notified you??

Turns out Niburu is real!! And it's gravitational pull is causing our time to accelerate..

Your notion of two hours was actually four!!
