Aww, too bad. Because according to your formula, after running the numbers, you have a WATS index of about 445. That would make you # 3 all time. I am sure the rest of ATS will join me in applauding your efforts!

I am amazed to return to the forum and see all the new page changes, then interestingly the first thread I visit shows me that I too made the Top 50!!

I knew certain names like my favorite ATS Author Skyfloating would be there, but yes, wow.

The "WATS Index" is calculated as: ((FLAGS x 5) x STARS)/1000000.

Flags definitely have more weight, but someone with lots of stars but solid flags can get into the list.

congradulations TrueAmerican, as well as all other 49 on the top 50 list.

i have no flags, as can be seen on my profile page. (not that i would be on the list anyways) does this effect the formula?

sorta a double edged sword, isn't it? i mean if tptb ever wanted to crack down on ATS due to national security concerns, wouldn't they look to see who is on that list at some point?

Thanks Aquarius I am very grateful to everyone that's been so supportive towards me on ATS and honored to have come in number 4 on the list.

I do have one question that I am actually embarassed to ask, at 25,000 plus stars I have more stars than anyone on the top 50 list.

I am curious as to whether Skeptic Overlord or one of the other Administrators could tell us if there is a member that has more stars than me, that maybe is not on the list.

If TrueAmerican is flabergasted to be on the list, I am down right shocked considering I might be the most frequently starred poster on ATS.

I guess there is something to the old saying?
