If you really have evidence, you would have been taken seriously.

If you had any proof, you would have been taken seriously.

If you had any sense you would have never left your child with a guy who is into those kinds of films. I don't care how young you were.

Leaving your child with a man who watches german shista and extreme bondage films is frankly retarded. Even more so when you noticed marks on your child's body relating to said films.

Didn't you also state you were abused by your foster family....and this family was friends with this guy? Another thing that doesn't add up why you would trust him so.

If you have any real will to solve these crimes, you would be working with the police, not posting on ATS. Not posting on any other message board messing up your own story. .

For your sake, I really hope you are telling the truth, because you blatantly accused someone of multiple murders and child abuse. We have seen reports in the news of "teh interwebs" making people's lives a living hell for much less.

And, if this dude is the serial killer you say he is and knowing that serial killers like hearing that people are talking about them, I hope he doesn't stumble across this web site. You have left WAY too much personal info floating around to easily figure out it was you.

Shoot...if he thought of you as a child like you state, he may just be heartbroken to think you think all this of him.

My daughter is addicted to meth. She moved out of the city 2 months ago with her boyfriend who is encouraging her to say clean and as far as I know she is doing better. I know she is not able to live in the city though. She lives in a small town now and has the support of her boyfriend.

Her drug of choice was Meth and Marijuana. I know she dabbled in other stuff like crack...., but she was never an IV drug user. She is terrified of needles (no wonder), so at lest she never got into that.

From the time my child disclosed her abuse we both immediately began family and individual conselling. She saw counsellors for years for play therapy and cognitive therapy. To no avail. By the time she was 12 she was climging out her bedroom window and taking off, started on Meth, dropped out of school, and basically was constantly "Missing". The Ministry of Children and Families was involved for 10 years as well. We all did what we could to help her, but you cannot help someone who does not want to be helped.

Fortunately now she has moved out of the city with her boyfriend who encourages her to stay clean. As far as I know she is clean for a couple months now, and she lives in a small town where she is trying to start a new life.

Yes I am the blonde lady with the red blouse, holding my granddaughter. I have custody of he now because the Ministry took the baby away from my daughter. My daughter has a lot to work out before she is prepared for motherhood, and I worked very hard to get custody of my granddaugher. If were crazy, trust me that child would have been adopted to strangers by now. To get custody of a child from the Ministry means you are under intense examination and scrutiny, and I went throught his process for 13 months before getting custody of her.

She is such a joy though!

Just by me telling the story would be pretty obvious to Henning that it is me. There is no need to cover up who is saying this.

I have repeatedly said that this information has been forwarded to the RCMP in at least 2 different detachments.

I don't have tangible "evidence", that is part of the reason I am posting, so that perhaps someone who has connections to pull something on this guy like prints or handwriting can figure something out, or perhaps find an old vehicle of his (he had many), and still find trace DNA, or maybe even fish around his house at 100 Mile House he owned for at least 30 years where bodies were found surrounding the place..... Sometimes getting the attention of other people means that there are cops, or PI's who can do something. I have been told by one source this is being taken seriously.

The other reason I post is that perhaps another victim may have courage to come forward. Maybe the woman whom he grabbed by the throat and lifted off the ground, or maybe another mom whose child was abused. The women I have spoken to are scared of him, but maybe if a victim sees someone else is speaking up too, they won't be afraid to come forward.

I was not abused by my foster parents, I was abused by my adoptive parents. My life isn't your average life, but growing up like this, you don't realize this. It is easy for someone who has not been through this to sit back and judge and tell you how crazy you are to leave your child with this man.... I remember people talking about "Faces of Death", when I was a teenager. I never saw it, but it was something young people talked about. I just thought this stuff he showed me was that same type of morbid curiousity, and he and his friend just laughed at it. I didn't suddenly think in my mind "Oh this guy must be a freaky pedophile!"

As I said, Henning was in my foster home visiting my foster father nearly every day. When I was 18 and left to finish my last year of high school on my own because I was too old for the foster home, Henning and I developed a closer relationship, and he helped me with Shakespeare as that was tough for me, and I often stayed at his place because it was close to the school, and the dump that I could afford to live in was a long way from school....

When you grow up never being told you are loved, or hugged, and you get beatings, and your brother is molesting you, you end up in foster care.... you don't have a "Reasonable", example, or "Life Skills", to detect things that may not seem "Normal", to other people, because nothing about your own life has been normal. You just take things for what they are, and being that Henning is 33 years older than I am, obviously a very intelligent man, and he seemed to do so much to help me, being my only support person in life and did believe everything he said, I did believe he was a kind man.

It is not one particular event it is years of spending time with someone from a young age who has significantly influenced your life. If you haven't lived it, then I guess you wouldn't know what I am talking about. I am not criticizing you as you are me, merely trying to make people understand that I was easy target to be manipulated and invluenced, and honestly the guy is good at what he does. I found out after the fact he had a bevy of troubled, single moms he was hanging out with.

Obviously I wouldn't leave my child with someone whom I thought could hurt her. At the time I trusted him more than any one in the world and I would have NEVER believed that he would do something like this. After my daughter disclosed and the details she gave me of what happened to her, I knew she was telling me the truth. As far as her injuries, why on earth would I think at the time "Oh this cyst in her eyelid must be because Henning is duct taping her eyes open and sticking a pin in there." It is in hind sight I realized what these injuries were and that they were consistent with what my child told me.

I don't know why I have been dealt the hand I have. An autobiography I guess would tell it best, there is so much more to my crazy life, but that doesn't make me crazy. I am a survivor and I have lived through a hell of a lot more than I have posted, but I dare not share that or for sure I will slammed again. I guess this is part of the reason I feel like I am supposed to be the voice of the victims who cannot speak. Because there must be some reason that God put me through all this... maybe to make me stronger.... maybe so I could be the one who be able to take on the task of trying to bring Henning to justice.

He absolutely did hurt my child.... It is your God given right not to believe that, or not to waste your time reading any of this. I know what happened and it is my God given right to fight for justice.

Yes the police talked to me and my daughter about this back in 1999. There was an investigation, but because there wasn't any physical evidence there was nothing that they could do. The burden of proof in sexual assault of a child is very high. Henning anally raped her to keep her hymen intact, he bathed and and laundered her clothes. I also forgot to tell the police about the compartment under his bathroom floor. I think I was just in shock over all of it I just didn't think about it. I mean at the time I didn't think it was a compartment, I was just instructed not to stand on that particular spot because he said the wood was rotten and I would fall through. It was later I realized it was a compartment. I mean at the time I didn't realize that it would be cement under his apartment floor not wood you could fall through.....

The Vancouver Police were also involved and hired the play therapist through Visionqeuest to work with my child. That is hos the Vancouver Police get details from a child. Thy don't interrogate the child like the constble from the RCMP did to my child, they use a qualified specialist who knows how to interpret abuse using play themes. It was determined that my daughter's theme in play was very disturbing and she displayed dismemberment themes. That is documented in the Children's Hospital Residential Assessment Discharge report. Again there was nothing tangible for them to go on and there really wasn't much more that they could do.

The RCMP said they found a lot of weird videos he had, but nothing illegal, and also a huge stash of medication. I believe he was stashing muscle relaxants he would get for his bath, so he could at minimum drug my child, maybe others??? I believe they also may have found meat in his freezer because I mentioned something about Henning being a vegetarian to the constable and he got a really puzzled look on his face and questioned "He's a vegetarian??"

It would take closer examination to possibly come up with tangible evidence. Henning is very smart though and he is also very meticulous. Now if they ever looked under that bathroom floor, even if he has filled it in again, there would be signs of that and a thorough examination could reveal something perhaps. Or maybe checking out the property he owned in 100 Mile House.... I also still have some clothing and wallets he gave me, that could perhaps have DNA.

I'm no expert on the Zodiac killer so I can't really comment on that bit of your posts.
I do have a family member that was also raped at a very young age and I feel for your pain.

The account by Mr Henning of the whirlwinds causing crop circles (which I found on the net) is a little odd to say the least but it doesn't tell me anything apart from he's might be a bit odd.

I don't really know what to tell you, but I think that posting on internet forums like this one isn't really going to help, maybe you would be better served by posting on a site where victims of sexual abuse, or people who's lives have been effected by this kind of thing also post. You will find people that are more willing to listen to you there.

Well I will try to see what I can do for reversing the places I put his name. Some sites I used astericks to blank out part of his last name. I realize that he could come after me for damages, but I have enough proof in civil court to come after him for damages as well for what he did to my child. I don't think he is the type to draw extra attention to himself by facing me in court, but if it came down to that I would simply agree to his argument and file my own....

Perhaps this is the wrong place to post. I am knew to blogging and this site came up when I was searcing messages boards re Zodiac. I have obtained some valuable information from people, specifically on this site and some supportive PM's. I am also sure that some authorities from various agencies, PI's etc, will like to cruise these sites and see if they find any "clues" to open ended unsolved crimes..... perhaps someone who sees this will dig around, and maybe even come up with something.

I am sorry some people have become so irritated with me, and I am sorry for my emotional outbursts the other day. I am generally pretty calm, but I lost control there.... it just really hurt me some of the nasty things people were saying when the outcome of this crime against my child has been so devastating. I won't be posting anything new other than perhaps answering questions or replying to posts that are not abusive to me. I am sure it won't be long before the thread is dead and you all can forget it.

For some reason I was compelled to find out who the Zodiac Killer is and what really happened to him. I found this particular posting in a couple different places.

For some insane reason, I think this is true and that you are totally right. I don't know why but I think its the best answer.

. That they actually train and allow these serial killers to kill people. When I looked in your photo bucket of the highway of tears murders, well it really hurts to know things like this are going on.

I def believe if you did go to the police that they dropped your case and did not peruse it and stuff like that. I think when dealing with the Zodiac killer one is dealing with one of the most 'advanced' types of serial killers. Most get caught but maybe some still go on and if this happened to my daughter I would want to know exactly who did it too, because I would make him suffer for the rest of eternties.

It is however a big leap for many to take I would maybe think. But i def think you are on to something

melody, i'm usually a silent reader, but your story has made me feel compelled to write. I truly emphatize with your pain and i know, no words can describe the sufferings your family has been through. I can also understand how truly disappointing it is when you are telling the truth, hoping people would listen, but what you get instead, is people calling you a liar.

1st off, i would say, do what is best for your family, even if it means posting it on the internet. You'll never know what sort of help you'll get, as God works in mysterious ways. You can only do so much, so by all means, do whatever you can afford to do. In the meantime, try to go back to the police station where you first reported your case. You'll never know, the police might have some new leads...

I know it takes a lot of money to run errands, to check things out, even to hire a private investigator. I pray & hope that everything will turn out to be alright in the end, and everyone reaps what they sow. Karma will always be able to find its master, for life, is a spinning wheel. What comes around, goes around.

There will always be people who won't believe you, who look down on other people's stories, just because the story is too bizarre for them to accept. When you meet this kind of people, on this Forum, or in real life, be polite, smile & just walk away. You don't have to explain or defend yourself to them, because it will look as if you're arguing. That is not the purpose you're here in the 1st place. You're here to get support and help, anyway you can. So focus on that. I haven't been on here for awhile...... decided it best to keep fairly silent as it is likely that Henning would be following my advancements in trying to find justice.

Anyway, Crime Watch Canda Magazine published 17 pages on my story in the November 2010 issue *081, starting on page 66.

The writer of the article has been in communications with me for months and has many connections that she has contacted in Canada and the US. Seems like the authorities may have been digging around on him, because coincidentally a month later someone slagged me to my landlord, on my birthday coincidentally, and then 2 weeks to the day later, Henning sent me a "Friend Request", on Facebook.

Sounds like he is up to his old tricks again trying to discredit me and after 11 years of no contact, looks like he may have something to be worried about.....

I will never give up.

Upcoming will be a published book on this story, and simultaneous release on YouTube my daughter at the age of 8 yrs, describing in graphic detail the brutal rape, torture, live cannibalsm and murder of a child. It is so graphic that I cannot say what the heck happened to make her say those things. I have a report in 2000 saying that she is not mentally ill or deceptive, and I will be having a psychologis who saw her for several visits back then, listen to the tape and give me his professional opinion.

This is far from over, and I will never give up.

Hi everyone it is Melody.... originally posted under the name melody_leigh, but I moved and have a different internet provider and so I couldn't recover my password. I am not afraid to use my real name anyway, because the story is real.

Let me start by saying that I do not claim to have solved the mystery of Zodiac. I am merely pointing out some very strange coincidences that I found while researching murders in British Columbia, Canada, in particular the missing Vancouver, Eastside women and victims from the Highway of Tears.

It all began back in April of 1999 when I found out that this man whom I had met in my foster home at the age of 16, and who had become like a father to me and eventually like a grandfather to my baby that I had years later with an abusive man, was binding, anally raping, and torturing my child.

As time went by my child started telling me more and more details of torture, like being bound and stuck with pins, or having a live spider put on her and being made to eat one of the spiders legs.... after awhile she drew me pictures of meat she saw Henning eat and to my amazement it looked like skinned female genetalia. A week later she drew another picture with smaller genetalia, no dots where the pubic hair would be, some kind of mole or birth mark and bite marks, she then looked up at me and said very matter of factly "This one was younger".

Eventually stories of very gory murder scenes that my child claimed to be at, OR stories of murder that Henning told her of begain to emerge. The detail that she described things, describing very gruesome acts of rape, torture, live cannibalsm and murder, smells, textures, temperatures and colors.... it was all too much for me to believe that SOMETHING really bad must have happened to her. At the very least, psychological torture of a child victim who is enslaved for BDSM pedophiliac pleasures....

So now I am believing that a man who is capable of doing what he did to my child is surely capable of anything, and that the stories and pictures my child produced certainly do portray a very evil, and extremely violent man. This lead me to believe that he was responsible for many of the Vancouver missing/murdered women. Robert Picton would eventually be convicted for some of these murders, and 26 victims have been accounted for on the Picton Pig Farm, coincidentally 5 miles from where Henning lives.

Still there are in excess of 70 other women from the Highway of Tears and still missing Vancouver women who have not yet been accounted for. I didn't even know about Highway of Tears until last year while researching the missing Vancouver women, as the RCMP had been hush about a serial killer being on the loose. I was surprised to find that original victims surround a geographical radius around Henning's father's home, and Colleen McMillan was found practically in the backyard.

So what does this have to do with Zodiac? Well considering that I believe that this man is the BC Serial killer, at least one of the killers on the lose here in BC, my mind is open to the fact that he is likely a killer. Then in 2007 I was watching the movie "Zodiac", and when they showed a letter written by Zodiac I immediately said to my husband "That is just like how Henning writes!!!". It was really weird, and honestly I really didn't know much about Zodiac before watching that movie and recognizing the handwriting. It was something that we talked about as kids, like stories about the Titanic and such... so now I started researching and I came up with a lot of really weird coincidences which I continue to find, including him matching the Zodiac composite when you draw a beard on it and part the hair to the side. The computer image does not portray the detail of the actual photo and composite in hand...

Do I believe he is Zodiac? I really cannot say for certain, but I can say that over 20 years ago, he toyed with me with Zodiac phrasing and idealisms that I had no idea of at the time. I can say that murders in California, BC, and Calgary all took places in areas he had family. I can say that he often boasted about being a genius, that he is known to have used assumed names, that he has assualted 2 other women that I know of from my foster home, and that there are references to Zodiac possibly having German heritage, that the "My Name Is", cipher contains symbols consistant with possibly spelling out the name Henning Lagies, and a multitude of other weird things that could point to him being Zodiac, killing on both sides of the US/Canada border from Lake Herman, California, coincidentally to Herman Lake, British Columbia, an almost equal distance from the border.....

This is a story about my fight for justice for what happened to my little girl. It is a story that will hopefully lead police to discover that Henning is a killer here in BC and will help to bring peace to so many families of missing/murdered loved ones, yearning for answers. I understand this pain, and I truly want to bring some kind of peace, if I can, to so many lives left in turmoil. It is my duty to speak up and try to get the police to listen. I was weak for many years, struggling to come out of a very dark place I lived after discovering what happened to my child, but I am stronger now and ready to resume the fight.

My daughter has been a drug addict since the age of 12 and she lives a very dangerous lifestyle. The pain never leaves me, and it is this pain that gives me the courage to fight and do what I can to prevent anybody else from suffering as I and so many other families here have.

This is very bizarre and more than a coincidence. HOW CAN THIS BE??? This is what I am talking about, it took me a long time to finally get this together, starting back in 2007 after watching the movie on Zodiac and recognizing the handwriting.... my child was raped and tortured by this man. Taunting letters left at bus stops starting in the same year he started abusing her appear to describe her abuse in same style Zodiac used....
