what photo editing software does everyone use?

just looking for some suggestions, i don't have any experiece using this type of software so something that isn't to complicated, but not so simple i can't do anything with it. thanks in advance.

adobe photoshop is very nice. Been using it about 5 years now and not had urge to use anything else

The two I use most often are Adobe photoshop and Ulead Photo Impact (Much cheaper of the two).
They are easy enough to learn to use, but if you take the time to learn them they are both powerful.

Probably the best free photo-editor
I've hear one day that there was a WINDOWS version.
