I think the idea of Israel pressuring the US into war with Iran, to include manipulating the public through the MSM, is the ultimate truism. All it
really takes for anyone who has retained the rare ability of critical self thought, is to think about it for maybe two minutes at the most and ask
yourself which country in the region is the real belligerent and aggressive force?
Arguably, Iran is one of the most stable - and sane - countries in that region, while Israel is almost always oppressing or terrorizing their
neighbors. Also, Iran is probably a much safer bet for nuclear technology than Israel could ever hope to be. For instance, Iran is a party to the
NNPT, while Israel is not. Also, Iran has been completely transparent with the IAEA, while Israel has been secretive and non-compliant with the same
organization. This isn't even mentioning that Iran has promised that the technology would be used for peaceful means, while Israel retains the right
to nuke any country standing in its way or disagreeing with its oppressive policies. Furthermore, Iran has not been aggressive to anyone, while we all
know Israel's behavior.
The way the media portrays Iran, you would think they are talking about Israel. It's almost as if they substitute the name "Israel" with "Iran".
The MSM is also fond of completely spinning Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's words into things that he never even hinted at saying. Either they spin his words
or make something up completely and all one has to do to figure this out, is listen to the man himself, though this same MSM would never simply play
his own words. Rather, the MSM just wants the public to "trust them". If it's not spinning his words or putting words in his mouth, they simply
imply his guilt, any guilt really or whatever will sit heavy with most Americans. It's almost as if the media is coerce the public into beliving that
Ahmadinejad is the next Hitler.
We have to ask ourselves why the Media would care so much? Why would they care enough to put forth such an effort to demonize this country and their
government. It's certainly not to gain viewers, as most Americans have proven to enjoy sports or celebrtiy gossip over any real substance. Someone
has to be influencing the media for this effort and it certainly isn't the US, with the two wars we are already bogged down in.
When you break it down to the lowest common denominator, who do you feel more safe with having nukes, Israel or Iran? I for one would feel much more
safe if Iran, as opposed to Israel, had nuclear technology, yet where is the MSM on this issue?
